136. Smart Hulk

'Good morning.... sorry I thought I would get a little work done,' Bruce said as jen descended down the stairs.

'Your hulk again.' Jen remarked

'smart Hulk,' Bruce corrected.

'Wow.'

'Yeah I didn't come up with it you never have a choice with the name,' Bruce told her

'Where are we?' Jen asked

'Mexico don't worry I talked to your parents and they know we're OK but this is where I spent the blip where I Integrative myself into the hulk and banner identities.'

'In this tiny beach house lab?' Jen asked

'Yeah Tony and Kat built it for me a few years ago, Tony Stark, Katlin Stark now Strange, you know the Iron Man and woman,' Bruce boasted. 'he always joked that he would swing by and take it back... You OK?' Bruce asked

'Wait do we hit a spaceship?'

'Yeah a siccar class A courier craft they were probably trying to deliver a message. I gotta get to the bottom of that Kats here to help with lots of situation though,' Bruce told her 'you know weird stuff just keeps finding you when you're Hulk but first we gotta deal with you.'

'Me? What happened to me? I changed.' she said thinking it through

'Look I'm sorry I tried to warn you my blood got into your system and after the wreck you got a lethal dose of gamma radiation,' Bruce said looking down at her

'Lethal as an- as in I'm going to die?' Jen shouted in a panic

'Bruce that was a really bad time to take a pause,' Kat said coming down the stairs 'tell your cousin she's not going to die.'

'No I mean yes I mean your nothing going to die.' Bruce told her, 'there's more to it that I was going to explain.'

'Hey I'm gonna try and figure out your hulk stuff... show her the DNA first.' Kat instructed.

'Look your DNA and mine we share the same genetic factors that allow us to synthesize gamma radiation into something else.' Bruce said happily.

'So I turn into a hulk now too?' jen questioned looking over her normal skin.

'I've been analyzing your blood and the way it synthesize gamma, I was able to completely heal my arm!' Bruce told her excitedly holding up his arm.

'Oh because I'm better than you?'

'Totally better than him.' Kat agreed.

'Hi I am Jen.'

'Kat. so nice to meet you, I can obviously see that the good luck is on your side of the family,' Kat mused

'Stark,' Bruce hissed 'Not better just different.'

'In a better way,' Kat and Jen said simultaneously they smirked over at each other

'In conclusion my arm is healed and I can be my fully integrated self again.'

'Smug hulk.' Jen remarked

'Smart hulk.' Bruce corrected.

'Was pretty smug to call yourself smart Hulk.' Jen told him

'She's not wrong and I like her,' Kat said

'I didn't come up with it.' Bruce reminded them.

'You use it implied endorsement.'

'We're definitely keeping her.' Kat said happy to have another woman on the team.

'Don't lawyer me. So now that I've expertly analyze your blood samples,' he put it into a machine and laser is burned away the blood.

'That's a bit dramatic.' Jen told him.

'It's not actually.' Kat told her. 'Your blood is like crazy speical.'

'It's way too dangerous to get out into the world,' Bruce told her 'even if there's a 1 in a million chance that it makes another one of us.'

'OK you analyzed everything now fix me.' Jen demanded

'Oh I just got here when you haven't even... Maybe this is more of a family thing...' Kat said taking a step back.

'What does she mean? What do you mean?'

'There's no fixing you hon.' Kat told her.

'This does not go away,' Bruce agreed

'What do you mean give me that little device thing that kept you as Bruce.' Jen demanded.

'That device was a prototype that was calibrated specifically for me.' Bruce reminded her.

'Great make me one make me one specifically for me you could do it you're a genius can't you?" Jen shouted at them

'I could probably do it,' Kat admitted

'We can't do it I have been struggling with it for years the best I could do is merge my two spilt sides together, give me time in the lab and we can do the same for you,' Bruce told her

'I got I just got my own office I got my life on track I got business cards.' Jen muttered pacing the lab.

'There's no going back to what you were before,' Bruce said and she took a deep breath

'That is not how you talk to people Bruce, you are scaring her enough!" Kat told him. 

'It's the truth! Why sugar coat it?' Bruce countered. 

'Because not everyone wants this life!" Kat reminded him. Jen started to panic her breathing heavy. 'You can't just drop a bomb on someone like that, there is no going back! You are going to scare her death!'

'I need.' Jen said breathlessly 'I need...'
