Dancing/ Realizing He Likes You- Leonardo

Quick A/N: Just so you guys know, these next few chapters might be especially long, since I'm combining the ideas for 2 concepts. Sorry this took so long, @Sadiekins, I just thought you and your turtle should establish a good friendship first. On with the story!!!

(your P.O.V.)
You set your pencil down and closed your textbook, relieved to have finally finished your homework. The twilight outside was sending a bluish light into your room, and you grabbed your (f/c) sweater and phone, heading up the fire escape.
It had rained the night before, and the left over smell of fresh rain reminded you of the night you first met Leo. You blushed to yourself, opening your phone to your music and shuffling through songs. You perched yourself on the edge of the roof as you listened to some music, but your eyes lit up as you heard your favorite song, Play It Again by Luke Bryan.
You jumped up, wanting badly to begin moving to the beat, but you weren't exactly the best dancer. You glanced around, making sure you were alone, before nodding your head to the rhythm and swinging your body to the beat.

Soon as I sat down I was fallin' in love, Tryin' to pour a little sugar in her Dixie cup, Talkin' over the speakers in the back of that truck, She jumped up and cut me off

You twirled yourself around, then pretended as if you were dancing with someone, throwing your head back and wrapping your arms around your imaginary partner's shoulders.

She was like, oh my God, this is my song, I've been listenin' to the radio all night long, Sittin' 'round waitin' for it to come on and here it is, She was like, come here boy, I wanna dance, 'Fore I said a word, she was takin' my hand, Spinnin' me around 'til it faded out, And she gave me a kiss, And she said, play it again, play it again, play it again, And I said, play it again, play it again, play it again

You laughed to yourself, acting like you were being twirled, before rolling into a headstand and landing in a split. You didn't notice someone watching you...

(Leo's P.O.V.)
He was heading over to the lair, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and realized he was nearing Y/N's place. Leo stopped and looked around, scanning his surroundings. He caught movement on the roof of her apartment building, and hurried over. As he neared the clearing, he heard laughter, and managed to stay in the shadows as he saw... Y/N.
She was dancing to music on her phone, and Leo listened intently to the tune. He recognized the song, Play It Again, and smiled softly. He watched as Y/N did a headstand before tilting forward and landing in a split. She was so graceful and calm and... beautiful.
Leo frowned to himself, wondering where that thought had come from, but it was true. He thought Y/N was absolutely stunning. Her h/c hair and the way she always tucked it under her beanie when she was nervous, her mesmerizing e/c eyes, her smile.
Leo's eyes widened in realization. He... he hadn't felt this way since he'd met Karai. But this was different. Leo wasn't unsure of his feelings, he knew Y/N would never betray him. Unlike Karai, he felt calm around Y/N, with her centeredness.
Leo breathed deeply, trying to take in his feelings. The emotion he was experiencing was unlike any other. He felt like his insides were on fire, and it was showing, as Leo felt his face begin to heat up. This wasn't some fleeting thought...
Leo turned to look at Y/N as she began to finish out the song.

Y/N slowly danced to a stop, sighing as the song ended. She picked up her phone, and as she made her way to the fire escape, looked up into the evening sky.
"Leo should be around any minute now," he managed to hear her say, "Maybe he'd want to watch Space Heroes!"
Leo grinned as he heard Y/N thinking about him. Was she... could she be... looking forward to seeing him? Leo couldn't deny it any longer. He was falling for Y/N, and no doubt, he was falling hard.

Whoo hoo! Bet you guys have been waiting for that for a long time! *does happy dance*
Leo: *comes in and sees you* What are you doing?
Me: None of your business, mister.
Leo: uh, okay... then why are you dancing?
Me: 'Cause I want to!
Leo: *holds hands up in surrender* okay, okay! Geez, I was just wondering if you'd gotten any farther in your story.
Me: Oh, yes. *mischievous smile* I did. Goodbye, my lovelies! *walks out*
Leo: What was that all about? *rolls eyes and follows me out*
