Getting Out- Raphael

You grinned as Raph's fist connected with the ninja's jaw, sending it sprawling. The brain worm fell to the floor with a squeak, and your boyfriend stepped on the squeamish thing, before looking down at the smashed bug, and muttering, "Man, I hate those things."

"Glad you could find time to show up," you quipped sarcastically as he undid your bonds. 

"Hey, I had to make sure you were alright, beautiful," Raph said sincerely. You got to your feet, and swayed as the floor seemed to turn to quicksand. Your mind got extremely fuzzy, memories muddling together wildly. Raph steadied you, putting a strong hand around your waist, before you heard a loud roar. You jerked your head up to see your mutated mother standing in the doorway, sharp teeth bared. She lunged at you, and Raph just managed to drag you out of the way, as the mutant lioness sunk her claws into air.

Raph's bright green eyes turned white with anger, as he charged your mother, sais at the ready. With a few swift moves, your mom was out cold. Your boyfriend raised his sai, about to finish the job, when your hand shot forward and grasped his wrist.

"Don't!" you cried out. Raph's eyes returned to normal, and he stared at you, confused.

"This... thing tried to kill you!" he exclaimed, not yet fully calmed down.

"That thing," you retorted, "Is my mother!"

At that, Raph shut his mouth, his eyes bouncing between you and your mutated mom. He took a deep breath, trying to take in what had happened.

"We have to go," he stated simply, turning to you. You cast your eyes down, saddened, but knowing it was what had to be done. The lioness growled ferociously in her sleep, and you gasped, practically leaping into Raph's arms. You looked up at him sheepishly, and jumped as the sound of fighting returned to your ears.

Raph returned his sais back to his belt, and slinked his arms around you, lifting you up in a jiffy and running through the masses of defeated Foot bots. You cried out as a stray knife almost took off your head, but Raph maneuvered just enough that the blade missed both your heads by mere inches. You started breathing quickly, panic coursing through you, but Raph tightened his hold around you, calming you instantaneously.

Your turtle finally reached the smashed window he'd entered through, and was soon joined by his brothers. You gulped as you looked out and saw the height of the building. You wriggled closer to Raph, and he looked down at you, and before he jumped, whispered into your ear.

"I'm not gonna let anything happen to you," he promised, "Trust me on that."
