We just landed back in New York , Lu and I spent most of the flight back from Russia in the bedroom in the back of the plane celebrating our engagement. When oldie and I were speaking right before we got engaged he told me all our friends and their families were coming over for brunch the morning we were due back .
He even said our family in Italy who run the Sicilian Mafia , would be there for their annual trip to America, oldie also said the Cromwells (Maria's family the American mafia ) would also be joining. Lu and I just pulled into the estate I can clearly hear everyone in the backyard . I didn't take my ring off but Lu is holding my hand in a way that hides the ring . He also told me that no one knows he was proposing and the only person who knows he was even going to at all is oldie because he asked for his blessing .

The three of us head back outside after talking for almost an hour about babies and my engagement. When we got outside Alessandro gathered everyone to announce the news about baby Moretti . Oldie cried I laughed and took pictures of him before he sobered up and slapped the back of my head gently.
Hours later Lu and I are in our bed upstairs in our cute little apartment that I love so much . " I'm so excited for the new baby . " I tell Lu as we cuddle , he hums before saying " me too also nervous it's been a while since I've been around a newborn . The last was probably my little sister Anastasia and that was almost seven years ago ."
" gosh little stasia is turning seven soon time goes so fast . " " it does but I think this year went incredibly fast ." I hum and snuggle closer to Luka before falling asleep not before saying I love you and get it in reply .
