It's been a few weeks since Lilly's diagnosis and they started their treatment. Lilly was doing so much better. Chase literally treated her like a queen and the kids all wanted to do things with her. She was also spending more time with daddy, horseback riding and doing things he loved and used to do with her mom and that's how they grieved together.

But it was Chase who literally gave her a reason to live. He was her rock and her refuge and he helped her deal with her grief. Cindy also helped a lot. She would never take her mom's space but it was nice knowing that she still had her.
The season was in high gear and Chase was back into form. He won a few races since being back while he recovered from his implant. It was almost race weekend at Martinsville one of Chase's favorite tracks. Willow was home from college on spring break. All the kids were off of school so they would all be making the treck up. But first they had to head to the Cancer center for Chase's check up. After he got better Lilly bought him the car he always wanted but would never by for himself.

A Chevy Camaro white. Chase loved it. They were getting ready to leave.
"Good luck daddy!" Willow says running over an hugging him.
"Thanks flutterfly." Chase says.
All the kids came and hugged him. They head out to the car.
" Can I drive please! I really really really want to." Lilly says.
