I pulled back my covers and practically shot out of bed at the sound of my alarm.

I walk over to my suitcase and carefully pick out a dull rose circle skirt, white crop top, and white sandles.

My hair was still wet from the shower I'd taken the night before so I dry it quickly, and curl it gently creating waves. I then slip in one of those fake flower crowns with the small flowers.

I then dab a bit of mascara on, along with lipgloss.

This was a quote; fresh start.

So who says I can't dress up?

Taking a final look in the mirror, I settle with the image staring back at me and grabbing a long sleeve skyblue Jean jacket and my bag.

Once I get to the front doors I realize how far I've really came.

Before all this drama I was a girl who spent all her time studying and hanging out with her closet friends to a girl who didn't know what she was feeling inside and didn't know who she could trust and who she couldn't.

And now.

I'm just a senior in New York City.

Not for long.
