Have you ever been

So Speechless

Wanting to comfort

But can't find the words?

I really hope

That she is okay

Why is it

That when I write

I can think of words

So easily

Yet, when it comes to

Helping someone

I just can't mutter a word

It is like someone

Is sitting on my chest

I cannot breathe

I talk so big

Yet I am so small

I say nothing

Just look at the sky

When someone needs me

I say Follow me

I'll help you

But while you suffer

I can't help

Why do I do this to you

I swear I don't mean to

Your past is worse than mine

Before we met

You were suffering

So why do I

Can't say a word

No I'm sorry

No I'll be there for you

Trust me I do care

But why do I feel this way

I can't breathe

Why can't I just say one little word

To show you
