Forty-Eighth Poem: Get Out

I hate life

For life took you away

My heart still wants you

My heart wanted you to stay.

That cannot change what you did

What you did to me

What you did to yourself

It has been months

Yet, my heart still cries

Get out of my head

Get out of my dreams

I wish I could scream

I want you back

In my arms

For you were the one

But now I have to move on

It is so hard

It takes forever

We will be together never

Never again

Unless you are innocent

But you're not innocent

Are you?

Did you do it?

I am so confused

Who to believe

Who to count on

You were the one

But you did the wrong

You betrayed me

You betrayed us

And what do I do?

I dream of you

I wish it was you

But I have to move on now

No matter what it takes

Get out of my head

Get out of my dreams

My broken dreams

So I can fix my broken heart
