I tell my thoughts
I get support
I get the love

At the words
I say

I need to let it out
No one seems to care

My stomach is uneasy
Goosebumps on my arms
Out loud, I stutter
On paper, I am strong
On paper, I can strive
Do you hear me?
Do you see me?

I feel like shouting
The darkness screams back
Parents don't listen
Don't know about my depression
If I scream
Will you hear me?
If I whisper
Would you ask again?
