Twentieth Poem: One Call

One call

One minute

You sent my world crashing down

I cried

You talked

Said that there was someone else

I guess that's alright

People say

You are stupid

Stupid for breaking my heart

But I don't really know

Maybe I deserved it

I just wish that you didn't look me in the eye

And say

I won't do what guys did to you

I love you

I won't hurt you

You told my friends not to hurt me

While they were the ones to comfort me

When you left

Am I crazy

For still thinking of you

Am I insane

For placing the blame on me

On my weight

On my looks

She was pretty

She was skinny

She took you away

She had to be better

She had to be

If she wasn't

You would not have left

In that one call

You took my heart

That I gave you

Smashed it on the ground

Now again

I am left

Kneeling on the floor

Surrounded by broken pieces

I pick them up

Piece by piece

Bleeding and Crying

Should I just leave

Should I just leave my heart in pieces

For I am so tired

For I am so cold

I want to be left alone

With no heart to give again
