Reader x Oluo: Just the way you are

SuperOtaku requested a Reader x Oluo, which, BTW, is one of my favorite character from the series. Also, (f/i) stands for Favorite Item

You sighed heavily as you placed your hand on your chin to support your head. You were sitting on a rock, your other hand was holding a knife. Yeah, you were peeling vegetables.

Oh, what made you sigh?

Well, a few feet away from you, Oluo was tending the horses of the squad. You just thought that copying Captain Levi wasn't such a big deal, you said this to Oluo once, and of course, he denied it.

From the way he wears, walks, everything! Oluo was like a tall, brunette Levi. This made you disappointed, sad and a little bit angry at Oluo. After all, an original is better than a copy, right?

While you were sulking and peeling, you didn't notice a certain brunette plop down next to you.

"What's up with you? You look like someone took your (f/i)." Oluo asked as he grabbed a potato and began peeling it with the swiss army knife he brought. You glared at him and turned away.

"Oi, I asked you a question, (y/n)." Oluo said sternly.

"Well, the questions is: What's up with you?" You said as you glared intently at Oluo, who seemed small under your glare.

Oluo cleared his throat, "What do you mean, (y/n)? I'm perfectly fine."

"Oh really? Oluo, I'm disappointed at you." you said bluntly, Oluo quickly stood up, but accidently bit his tongue, causing it to bleed.

"O-Oluo...?! Are you alright?! Ah! Y-you're bleeding!" You said in a panic, Oluo covered his mouth with his hand, the other waved it off.

"What do you mean 'it's nothing'?! Uhg, sit down, stick your tongue out and tip your head forward." You ordered, Oluo followed without hesitation. You quickly took off Oluo's cravat and applied pressure on the wound.

"Keep this pressed againts your tongue until the bleeding stops. In the mean time, I'll get you water and ice." you said and left, Oluo grumbled and slumped.

"Oluo!!" Oluo looked up and saw you running towards him worriedly, seeing you so worried about him made his heart skip a beat.

"Here," you panted, holding out a glass of water, "wash the blood away."

Oluo took it and gargaled, he spit out the water to the side and wiped his mouth.

"It stings." He said.

"Have some ice then, it'll stop the stinging." You said as you placed an ice cube inside Oluo's mouth.

"(y/n)." He started.

"What?"

"How come you're disappointed at me?"

"...I...just want you...to be you."

Oluo raised a brow, "what do you mean?"

"Oluo, an original is worth more than a copy. Please, you don't have to copy Captain Levi to be as great as him. You can excel even more if you're you. I don't like it when you push your true self away like that." You said whole-heartedly, tears forming in your eyes.

"Oluo..."

"W-what...?"

You looked up at him with a sad smile, "I like you just the way you are, Oluo."

You were shocked at first when Oluo suddenly hugged you, he apologized and you nodded.

The two of you continued peeling the rest of the vegetables while you rested your head on his shoulder. Soon enough, both of you fell asleep, leaning at each other and the tree behind you. Fingers intertwined.

I really love Oluo~ He's indeed a tall, brunette Levi xD
