Reader x Connie: Relief Part. 2

Here's part two of the Reader x Connie, Trainees!

".....!!" You jolted up, panting heavily as you waited for your vision to be clear. When it did, you looked around and saw that you were in some infirmary.

Your head started pounding and you leaned on the wall for support, you slowly got up and headed towards the sink.

As you washed your face, you soon realized how you got here.

"I was at home... But... Agh..." You moaned in pain, recalling the events that happened at home sure did made your head spin and ache.

You thought to yourself that you can think about it later on, you needed to find someone who could tell you how you got here.

When you reached for the door knob, the door swung open and your eyes widened in shock. You looked up and saw the most familliar face.

"Connie....!?" You yelled in surprise, pouncing at the boy and to hug him tight.

"You're alive!! Thank God!!" You cried as tears poured down your cheeks. Connie stood there for a second until he wrapped his arms around you and cried also.

"Hey... What are you crying for?" You giggled and wiped Connie's tears away, despite your tears had dripped on the floor.

"I should ask you that!" Connie whimpered and pulled you into another hug, "you're awake... You're alive..."

You rubbed the latter's back to comfort him as Connie cried on your shoulder.

After a while, Connie stopped crying and stood up, "wait here. Don't do anything stupid, you're at the Survey Corps' Head Quarters. I'll just call a doctor." He said.

You nodded and Connie walked next to you and bent down to kiss your cheek, "thank you." He whispered and left blushing.

You stared at the floor and felt your face heat up.

Soon, Connie came back with a doctor and conducted a check-up on you. Later, a woman named Hanji came with her subordinate, Moby and asked you some questions.

"Do you know what happened to the villagers?"

"I-I'm afraid I don't remember anything, except for the fact that I was greeted by my family and we ate supper.... It hurts my head whenever I try to remember. I'm sorry, Ms. Hanji." You apologized as you hung your head in shame. Hanji sighed and rubbed your shoulder.

"I understand. Connie, seems that you should stock (y/n) up with the things we saw at your village. When you're done, both of you are heading towards Erwin's quarters. Understand?" Hanji said.

Connie nodded and saluted until Hanji and Moby left.

As Connie had explained what had happened to the village and the villagers, you couldn't help but weep. Connie was there to comfort you as you wept.

"It's time." Connie announced, he held out his hand and you took it. Both of you made your way to the commander's room.

When the two of you were led inside, you saw Hanji by the wall, a blonde man missing a right arm on the bed and a ravenette man sitting on a chair next to the bed.

Connie saluted. You stood nervously behind him.

"Don't be scared, well... This is kinda creepy but just pretend that it's nothing," Erwin said as he pointed at his right shoulder, "I'm Erwin Smith, the commander of the Survey Corps. This is Levi, my right-hand man."

"Was that suppose to be a pun?" You said under your breath, unfortunately, they all heard you. Erwin gave a dry laugh.

"Haha... Anyways. Hanji here, had just reported their rendevous at Connie's home village. I assume you have known by now what happened to the villagers?"

"Y-yes, sir..." You stuttered.

"What are your thoughts on it?" Levi asked.

"E-eh...?"

"What did you think about when you heard of this?"

"I-I..." You looked at the ground, making fists, "I want to get revenge, sir.... I want my family back. And I'll do whatever it takes to get my revenge."

"Do you have some experience with titans and the 3Dimensional Maneuver Gear?" Erwin asked.

"Yes, sir. I joined the Trainees Squad but I dropped out before I could've graduated," you said, "I originally planned on joining the Survey Corps."

"How come I never saw you during training?!" Connie asked.

"That's because Cadet 15, (y/n) (l/n) was specifically made to train on her own with her own instructor." Levi said.

"Well then, (y/n). What do you plan to do now?" Hanji asked.

Before Connie could react, you spoke, "easy, I am joining the Survey Corps. I will lend my power, my will and my soul to the Survey Corps."

Erwin nodded, "I admire your courage and your honesty, (y/n). Connie, she's in your hands, understood?"

"Y-yes, sir!" Connie stuttered.

After a lot of asking and reporting, Connie dragged you to the courtyard.

"It seems we're working from now on, (y/n)." Connie smirked.

"Yup! Show me the ropes, Connie!" You smiled.

Both of you shook hands and went off to get your new uniform.
