Mikasa Ackerman hated you. And vice versa.

The glares you give to each other had already creeped people out. Despite being a girl, Mikasa wasn't afraid to beat you into a pulp. You were both equally great at combat but you still respected girls and didn't get into a fight with Mikasa. Though, you both have disarmed one another countless of times.

But both of you clearly had a line, what was Mikasa's is Mikasa's and what was yours was yours. And it seem like killing titans was now a competition, though it almost put your lives on the line. And you both had the fair share of scolding from your superiors. Now every time you both set eyes upon one another, you engage into battle mode. Luckily, Armin and Eren were there to stop the two of you from fighting.

To be honest, you didn't know why you hated Mikasa. Sure she can be annoying, like she only cares for Eren's safety and she doesn't give a damn about Armin. You find Armin cute and would probably be over protective of him, heck, you'd go gay!

But maybe Mikasa had her priorities. I mean, based on rumors, she saw her parents get killed right before her eyes when she was only nine. And at the same age, the same day, she killed a grown man along with Eren. THE WOMAN WAS NUTS. 

You had priorities too, to make your deceased mother proud by joining the military after your older brother was eaten by a titan. But no matter how much you wanted to calm down, you were always pissed off to see Mikasa, and vice versa.

Commander Erwin noticed this hatred going on between the both of you and thought it was a good idea to make you both sparing partners. You both dread training day and show up on time with a scowl painted on your faces.

"You'll all be sparing against your partners. One will be the attacker, that is the one holding the wooden dagger and one will perform self-defense tactics. We'll be walking around, observing. After a while, we'll do some warm-ups, Captain Hanji has prepared an obstacle course in the forest. Again, you will clear that obstacle course with your partner." Commander Erwin announced, you all began forming a scatter with your partners, and with a signal, you started sparing.

Mikasa was the attacker and she was gripping on the wooden dagger too hard, causing her hand to bleed a bit.

"You might want to chill for a bit, Mi-" You said but was cut off when Mikasa took off, charging at you while she was preparing to strike with the dagger. You easily dodged her assault and tripped her with your foot. But Mikasa did a somersault and went to a crouching position. Commander Erwin, along with Captain Levi and Shadis came to watch. Mikasa charged once more and with one lucky move, you cought her wrists with one hand and her shoulder with the other. With one mighty push, you sent Mikasa to the ground, disarming her. The three superiors raised a brow and Mikasa glared at you.

She kneed you on the arm, shocking you. When you lost your grip on her, Mikasa rolled on her side and went to a crouching position once again.

"You have a tough attacker, (y/n)." Commander Erwin chuckled. You smirked and wiped a few sweat.

"What's wrong, (l/n)? Am I too much to handle?" Mikasa taunted, she went into a fighting stance, as if she was ready to box, "I can still attack without a damn weapon."

You taunted her with your finger, "is that all you got?" 

Mikasa gave a death glare and charged once again. With another swift movement, you caught Mikasa's wrist and held it high while you kept your other hand on her arm behind her back. You locked your legs together and your whispered into Mikasa's ear, "you loose."
