You were never the one who would think so much about their future. You usually just kept on going with the flow and never expect anything. It became such a habit that you could even put on a straight face at any event. For example, you graduated highschool as the valedictorian, you thought you never did good in your studies but somehow you were proven wrong. There were many things you have gained that you never expected, and everything was going smoothly. But you weren't afraid about the time when things would start going downhill. After all, who could tell you your future? Fortune tellers are just frauds, also a waste of money. As you would've quoted.

You were living a happy life, you did well in your studies and graduated with the highest of honors. Had a healthy friendly relationship with some schoolmates and even professors. Had a well paying job that you absolutely loved. And a boyfriend who loved you with everything he was. And vice-versa.

Marco Bodt was your first and probably the healthiest relationship you had with since that jerk face football captain from highschool. Marco was a true gentleman and a prince, you were his number one priority. He was the best boyfriend a girl could ever ask. Marco does everything to keep a smile on your face and you were thankful for that. You never expect anything from your boyfriend because you loved him for who he was, and sometimes getting your hopes up would just be a waste.

And really, you didn't expect him to get down on one knee and pull out a small box, opening it, inside was the prettiest diamond studded ring. A few squeals from the crowd and 'aaawww's' were heard but you only focused on Marco's question.

"(y/n), will you marry me?"

You really didn't expect it.

But now you were happy, standing behind the large doors waiting patiently for your run. And as the last bridesmaid left, the doors opened and everybody stood up, staring at you.

With Historia's help, you were able to wear a Cinderella-like wedding dress. The veil was attached to a head dress and fell beautifully before your face and left a trail along. Your glass slippers were making slight stepping sounds as you made your way to the altar. You stopped and faced Jean, Marco's best friend and man, he hugged you and told you how beautiful you were. How honored he is that his best friend gets to marry an extraordinary individual like you.

You hugged your bridesmaid, they told you that they will beat the living hell out of Marco if he hurts you. You couldn't help but laugh. Then you finally turned to Marco.

His eyes were a bit red and he looked stunning in his white suit. His freckles were hidden slightly by his blush and Marco had the biggest grin ever. You always saw him with a big smile planted on his face but the grin he had right now could stretch into a mile. His smiles were so contagious that you couldn't help but smile also. Marco held your hand but you felt the tense in his hands that Marco wanted to hug you tight. You offered him a smile and Marco's hands softened.

After the exchange of vows and rings, it was finally time to kiss the bride. With a smile on the priest's face, he finally said, "You may kiss the bride." And left.

Marco carefully lifted your vail and he blushed another shade of red, he took your hands and kissed them. Marco kissed your forehead, your nose, your cheek, and finally, your mouth. A few cheers from the crowd erupted as you deepened your kiss with Marco. You grinned at one another and ran towards the exit, while you threw the bouquet away.

You kissed once more as husband and wife.
