A/N: The song's not related to the chapter, but it's Mardi Gras, so JOYEUX MARDI GRAS!!!

"I'll take Steve. My mom's a Froster, so I could also take Alyssa." I suggested. We worked together to create the whole list. In the end, we had this list:

Sophie: Tess and Darry

Fitz: Johnny

Linh: Evelyn

Tam: Help Keefe

Biana: Maria

Dex: Steve and Alyssa

Keefe: Dallas, Sodapop, Two-Bit, and Ponyboy

"Why does Tam have to help me?" Keefe protested, "I'll be fine."

"You have four greasers to help. You'll be grateful for his help." Biana said. I'm a little nervous about how that'll work out, but it should be fine in the end.

"Or I could use this." I held up a cube. It was one of my gadgets. This one would emit a variety of balms that would completely change the appearance of the person it was aimed at.

"What does that do?" Keefe asked.

"You don't want to know." Biana said.

"You told Biana, and not me? That hurts. I thought we were going to team up against Fitzie, but I guess I was wrong." Keefe said dramatically.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out. If I use it on you." I replied.

"Ugh. Fine." Keefe said, before holding up his crystal, and leaping away.

"He knows when he's losing, and he retreats." I said.

"What balms are in that one?" Biana asked.

"Um," I started to say, but Biana interrupted me.

"You just put a bunch of random balms in, didn't you." she said, smiling when I nodded. We really got to know each other, and I guess not all Vackers are bad.

"I wanted it to be random." I said, "I had different piles, and I took one from each."

"Oh, Dex." Biana said.

"Since my mom came by, and took the triplets home, do you want to create a list of possible activities we could do?" I asked.

"Sure." Biana replied. Her teal eyes are so captivating.

"You want to stay out here?" I asked.

"What?" she asked, "Oh, sure." Biana vanished and I immediately grew concerned.

"Biana? Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." she said, reappearing.

"So, maybe Truth or Dare?"

"Yeah. We can come up with some pretty awesome dares if we start thinking now."

"Yeah, I can use this!" I held up the cube I had threatened Keefe with. "I have a whole stash of these. I could figure out how to set a timer and have the balms squirt out and coat the person I threw it to."

"Maybe you could bring them all over, and have them choose. Without the timers, though. You can put the timers on other ones."

"That's a great idea!" I took her notebook, tore out a blank sheet, and wrote 'bring all the appearance changing cubes.' I stuffed it into one of the many ankle pockets. "Maybe you could dare them to let you do a makeover on them."

"I love makeovers! Especially on new people!" she squealed. It was adorable, the amount of excitement she had for makeovers.

"If you don't dress up, you can trick them into thinking you're not into makeup, and when you're finished, they'll be completely surprised." I suggested, "I think we should hold off until we've gotten to know them a little, so we can figure out who would be the best to dare into a makeover."

"I'll have to go that long without makeup?" she asked.

"Not without, just light. And not as much glittery stuff." I want to see her without heavy makeup. A more natural look.

"You're such a guy."

"I am a guy." I nudged her playfully, and she fell off the rock we were sitting on. She pulled me down with her, and I pretty much landed on top of her. Our lips were inches apart. She looked so beautiful, with her lips parted in surprise.

"Biana, I've wanted to do this for so long." I whispered. I started to lean in,.

"Dex! Biana! Is Sophie with you guys?" Edaline shouted.

"No!" I shouted.

"We need to go to the Collective. They'll know what to do." Biana whispered.

"Squall?" I asked. My mom's Squall, and she's also Edaline's sister, so she'll know what to do to calm her down. It must be hard, after losing Jolie, than having Sophie disappear.

"Yeah." she replied. I held up my home crystal, and Biana and I leaped away together.

"Dex, home so soon?" asked my mom.

"Edaline's worried about Sophie. We need a cover story." I said.

"Oh. I suppose it's alright if we tell them it's for the Black Swan." she said, "But, it's a top secret mission. You don't know what, just that they're on a secret mission."

"Mom!" Bex shouted, "Rex took my mallowmelt!"

"You took mine first!" Rex shouted. My mom sighed.

"Mom! I didn't do anything!" Lex shouted. Lex is the least destructive out of the three of them.

"Rex! Bex!" she shouted, "That's it! No mallowmelt for a week! I warned you!"

"Biana, if this is too much, we can hang out in my room." I suggested, "I could show you some of my inventions."

"That sounds like fun." she said. She followed me upstairs to my room. It was cluttered, but it was organized clutter.

"Hey, remember that dress idea you had?" I asked, "Maybe, we could work on that."

"That's a great idea!" Biana pulled out her notebook, and flipped to the page where she had originally sketched the idea.

"We could do the prototype on you." I suggested, "You're right here, so we could easily do measurements. The metal would have to be shaped exactly to fit your torso."

"Alright." We took measurements, and I planned how to mold the metal.

"The hinges could go here. It wouldn't be too noticeable, plus, it would be easy to take on and off." I said.

"Great idea!" We worked together for another hour or so, before Biana had to leave.

"Bye, Biana. You want to work again tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yeah, thanks."

"No problem." I said, as she held her home crystal up to the light, and glittered away. She's so beautiful. I love the way her teal eyes reflect all her emotions. She is amazing.

 She is amazing
