As much as I hate to admit it, Ro has become a real strong place of support for me, after they left to go find the other moonlarks. She's always been there for me, ready with a snappy comeback. She's terrifying, but I know she won't hesitate to kick one of the greasers if they aren't respecting me. Or the Hair. I pat my perfectly styled hair. I miss Foster. She really understood me. I'm trying to get over her, but it's not easy. I know that she loves Fitz. He's my best friend, and with the way I messed up with the Neverseen, he deserves her more than I do.

"Who deserves who?" Ro asked. Oops, I guess I said that out loud.

"Nothing! I was talking to myself." I try to cover up the fact that I'm giving up on Foster liking me as more than a friend. That's all I'll ever be to her.

"Yeah, right. When are you going to tell me the real reason you've only hung out with Dex and Biana, for the last week? I'm not buying it. The others can't be too busy to hang out with you for a whole week." Ro said. Just then, my Imparter buzzed.

"Hey, what's up, Dex?" I asked. Thank you for saving me from Ro's probing questions.

"Can you come to Everglen? I'm here with Biana, and we really need you." Dex said, "Like, now. Uh oh, I need to go. Bye." He hung up on me.

"Well, I need to get to Everglen. Ro, you should stay here. Think of a way to prank my dad." I said, as I headed towards the Leapmaster.

"I need gulon gas. Or alicorn poop." Ro said, "Let's see how much he wants us here when his prized capes are covered with that."

"Alright, I'll see what I can do." I said, before shouting, "Everglen!" The crystals rotated, and I stepped into the beam of light.

"Dex! Biana! You know where Sophie is. Please, just tell us!" Edaline sobbed. Grady looked really mad. Della and Alden were there too, and I could see the tear stains on their faces. Dex looked at me.

"Get the Collective." he whispered, "I don't know." He was upset. Biana was somehow keeping her cool.

"On it." I replied, before pulling out my Imparter. "Show me Sir Tiergan." I commanded. Sir Tiergan's face appeared on the screen.

"Keefe? Why are you calling me in the middle of the night?" he asked.

"We need Mr. Forkle. And possibly the whole Collective. I'm at Everglen, and it isn't looking so good."

"Alright. I'll be there soon, with as much of the Collective as I can reach." Sir Tiergan replied, before hanging up.

"Hey, Edaline. Hey, Grady." I said, I sauntered into the room.

"I know That Boy knows where Sophie is." Grady snarled.

"I hailed the Collective." I said, ignoring Grady's comment.

"They'll all be here soon?" Biana asked, before leaving the room.

"As many as Granite can reach." I replied.

"Just tell me where she is." Grady pleaded. He looked broken. He lost Jolie in a fire. Now Sophie disappeared.

"You kids. Always bugging us about something." Mr. Forkle said, as he entered. That's where Biana went.

"Where are our kids?" Alden asked, "Tell me. Please."

"Sophie, Fitz, Tam, and Linh are on a top secret mission for us." Granite replied. Yep, all five of the Collective were there, and they were all in their crazy disguises.

"When will they be back?" Edaline asked.

"We're not sure. It depends on how long it takes to earn their trust." Mr. Forkle replied.

"Whose trust?" Della asked.

"A group of people." Granite said, "We can't tell you anymore, but they are safe."

"And they'll come back?" Grady asked.

"They will come back." Squall said.

"Hey, I just thought of something!" I shouted, "I'll cut all of my capes into long strips, before making ropes into them and swinging on them!"

"Keefe!" Biana shouted.

"Foster's my impulse control. Help! Ro's not going to stop me!" I held up my crystal and glittered away.

"Back so soon?" Ro asked.

"I'm going to make some ropes out of my capes! Bye!" I grabbed the fanciest cape and a pair of scissors. I start cutting them into strips, before tying them into long ropes. I run into the room filled with my dad's achievements. I tie the rope to the chandelier, before swinging on them.

"Why didn't I think of this before!" I screamed as I swung. I knocked into the bookshelf with the fragile awards. It crashes to the ground, and the achievements shatter into millions of tiny fragments.

"Keefe! What did you do this time?" shouted my dad, as he walked into the room.

"Oops?" I said, as he took in the damage.

"My achievements!" he wailed, as he picked up the fragments. "You are a lousy excuse for a son! Why would you do that?"

"Um, because I lost my impulse control when Foster left on her secret mission?" It comes out as a question.

"Get out!" he screamed, "Get out! I don't want to see you, or that bodyguard around here ever again! Just get out!" I've never made my dad this mad before.

"Whoa. You really ticked him off, didn't you?" Ro said, as we walked out. We headed upstairs to the Leapmaster.

"I guess. I'm going to crash at Everglen. Maybe I'll give Mr. Snuggles a new look." I said, "Fitz couldn't bring him along."

"Whatever. Just don't die." Ro said, before walking off to do whatever it was she did when she wasn't protecting me.

"Show me Biana Vacker." I whispered to my Imparter.

"Keefe? Why are you calling me now?" she asked.

"My dad kicked me out. I lost my impulse control, and broke his achievements." I said, trying to pull off my classic smirk.

"Yes, you can stay here tonight." Biana said.

"You know me so well."

"My brother is your best friend." She smiled, before disconnecting.

"Everglen!" I shouted, as the crystals started rotating.

"Keefe! You can't use the Leapmaster!" my dad shouted, as he came running up the stairs.

"Too late!" I smirked, as I stepped into the beam of light, and was pulled away.

"Hey, Keefe. Dex is here too. We can do makeovers!" Biana squealed.

"Don't touch the Hair." I said, "Do one on Dex."

"I already did." she smiled, "See?" Dex stepped out of the shadows. His hair was styled differently, but it wasn't as good as the Hair. Nothing can ever look as good as the Hair. Except Foster.

"You can sleep in Fitz's room with Dex." Biana said, "I'm tired. And worried." She looked really shaken.

"Don't worry. They'll be fine." Dex whispered, putting his arm around her. He whispered something else into her ear, but it was too quiet for me to hear.
