*Insecurity warning

Your hands grazed over your stomach and stopped at your thighs. You knew you shouldn't, and there were days where you could look at yourself and see someone you loved and adored, but today, you couldn't help but compare yourself to almost anyone else. Your body didn't look the way you wished it did, and you felt like there was nothing you could do about it.

You were standing in front of the bathroom mirror. You had been undressing to take a shower, and your reflection caught your attention. Insecurity made your heart ache.

The door opened, making you jump.

"Sorry, I needed to grab something out of here. I expected you to already be in the shower," your husband, Keanu, explained. "You okay?"

You crossed your arms, trying to close in on yourself. "Yeah. I'm fine. I was just thinking."

He closed the door behind him. He knew there was something wrong; he always did. "No. What's wrong?"

"I'm just a little self-conscious right now," you mumbled, your voice wavering.

He came behind you, putting his arms around your waist, and looked in the mirror at you. "I think you look beautiful."

"But I don't."

He kissed your neck. "Well, you should because you are."

You smiled at your amazing husband through the mirror, which showed a happier scene now. "I guess your opinion is all that matters."

"If it means that you realize you're absolutely gorgeous, then yes," he agreed. "Only listen to me, but I'm not the only one that knows you're beautiful."

"Thank you, babe." You kissed him.

He winked at you before moving to grab something from the cabinet under the sink. "Alright. I have to get back to what I was doing, but if you need me, at any point, maybe even if you're in the shower..."

You smacked his arm. "You dirty little..." You both laughed as he shielded himself, exiting the bathroom.

Pretty short and kinda sad. But that's what I'm all about yo. Anyway, I hope y'all liked it. M'kay.
