"Kiss me."

And he did.

The thought, out of the many swirling through your mind, that stuck out the most was "That's all it took?"

He pulled away, breathing deeply. "I've always wanted to do that."

"I've always wanted you to do that." You shook your head. "That was cheesy."

"I know," he laughed.

"Of course you know that." You put your hand to your forehead.

"Y/N, I love you."

This time you smiled. "I know."

"How'd you know?" he asked.

You were almost embarrassed to explain. "You told me when we were 12."

He still looked confused. "But.."

"I could hear you," you assured him.

The time you were referring to was years ago. You two had bought a bunch of cassettes, and you were listening to each one in your Walkman, lying on the floor of his room. He said it as one sing had ended, and you almost thought it had been part of the song, but you knew his voice.

"You heard me." He looked completely thrown.

"Corey," you coaxed. "Kiss me again."

This isn't great and pretty short, but I hope it's still good. M'kay.
