This has been a sucky week. First my sister leaves for a vacation, then my dog dies out of nowhere. Now I'm alone, god I hate being alone.
I mean I have friends I could call but I always feel like a bother if I ask for attention. Well, I do have a friend I haven't seen in awhile, I'm sure he wouldn't mind visiting.
Y/N: Hey Ink do you mind coming over in a bit
Ink: sure any special reason
Y/N: I just want to see you, ya know talk a bit
Ink: Alright see ya
'Please come soon Ink, I need someone right now', I thought. I sat in silence for about a hour before I heard a knock on my door. I got up to open it and there was my artsy friend.
"Hey Y/N, good to see you", Ink said as he hugged me. "Yeah, you too, it's been too long", I said with a fake smile. I knew if he saw the slightest signs of my loneliness he would think I just want someone around and I didn't invite him over to spend time with him. I wanted nothing more than to spend time with him, I admit I have a little crush on him, I mean we've been close friends since I don't even know when.
"Y/N you ok, your zoning out a bit", Ink asked while I was lost in thought. "O-oh yeah I'm fine just lost in thought", I responded. He knew something was wrong but he didn't push me, he knows I'm not big on talking about feelings. I invited him in and we sat on the couch, in awkward silence, I might add.
I had to say something. "Hey Ink how've you been, it's been awhile", I said out of nowhere. "Good, just stressful, ya know fighting Error, saving Aus. I guess it is my job though, huh", he responded, "how about you". "Meh, normal. My sisters on vacation so I'm here alone for a week", I answered. "Hmm, well if you don't want to be alone I'll come over whenever", Ink said with a comforting smile. "Thank you Inky", I thanked. 'Wait did I say Inky, oh crap', I thought. I looked at Ink and he had a slight rainbow blush on his face. I giggled at him making him look away.
"Ya know Y/N, I'm glad you called me over", he claimed. "And why's that, we talk on the phone all the time", I responded. "Because what I'm about to say, isn't something that should be said through a phone call", he said. I was slightly worried, he never says stuff like that. He turned to me looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Y/N, I-I love you, and have for awhile but when I left I thought I wouldn't see you in person again". His face was completely a rainbow. "I-Ink, I-I. Heh, you have no idea how much I needed to hear that right now", I said as I hugged him again. I leaned back and pulled him into a kiss. He flinched but eventually melted into it, wrapping his arms around me, my arms around his neck. He pulled back and said.
"You won't be lonely again, Y/N, I'm always here".
Bonus
"So you ready for a new dog", Ink asked as we got into his car. "Yep, and this means we're technically gonna be parents. I mean it's a furbaby", I joked.
"Heh, yeah I g-guess so", he stuttered. I giggled and kissed his cheekbone. "Don't worry, you'll be a great dog dad".
(This relates to me, on a personal level. I hate being alone or cast aside, I'm so glad I have people like my friends who are always there.)
