Requested by KayMay26. Ho boy this is late, I'm so sorry about that. This quarantine is about to drive me f-ing insane and I've been doing whatever to keep myself busy. But I've run out of things to do, so...I guess I'm back!

Y/n's P.O.V

"Hey Fresh, I'm going out," I yelled to my brother. "Alright, just be-," "be careful, I know. I'm not a little kid, I can handle myself. Stop worrying," I said walking towards the door.

"I know you can handle yourself. But I'm your big brother, it's my job to worry," he said from his spot on the couch. I laughed slightly and shook my head.

"See ya later bro," I said waving to him. "See ya."

I knew why he was so worried. I had been exploring the multiverse for years, and there's a lot of bad people out there. Of course I wasn't leaving the anti-void this time.

Since my brother and I had no home Au we kinda just decided to stay there. Anyway, I wasn't leaving because I was looking for someone in the anti-void.

While exploring about probably 5 months ago I found another monster who calls this place home. Sure Error was a little, distant at first. He eventually gave up trying to ignore me and let me hang around him.

Boy am I glad he did. We became extremely close friends and frankly, talking to him everyday gave me something to do.

Yet I could never tell Fresh about our meetings. He told me years ago if I ever saw Error to leave and come find him. And obviously I didn't listen, I just didn't see why I was supposed to be scared of him.

But not only was I afraid Fresh wouldn't let me leave the house again if he found out, I was afraid of what he'd do to Error. Not only that Error was apparently 'evil', but that since I was Fresh's little sister, Fresh wouldn't be too happy about that.

Fresh was always overprotective, I remember one time there was this guy from Underfell I had a slight crush on and he refused to let me leave for almost 3 months. Course he's just trying to be a good brother.

But that's in the past, now I want to find Error. I made sure I was way out of earshot of my house before calling for him.

"Error, you here," I knew he was there somewhere, we'd made a deal to meet here to make it easier to find each other. While I was looking around to try and spot him I felt two hands on my shoulders.

It didn't scare me because he's done this before, a lot. "Nice try Error, you know that doesn't work anymore," I said turning around to see him. "Oh come on, you're no fun (n/n) (nickname)," he said laughing.

"So what's the plan for today, stargazing in Outertale? Playing pranks on Fell?," I asked. "I was thinkin' maybe just chillin on a beach in Oceantale. I know a nice spot near a harbor on the surface," he explained.

"That sounds nice. It's been so long since I've been to a beach, I can never find an empty one," I said and he told me to close my eyesockets, he did like surprising me.

He grabbed my hand and teleported us to the beach, if the sand under my shoes told me anything. He turned me around but kept his hand in mine.

He was being kinda strange, sure I was one of the very few people he didn't mind touching him, but he was the one constantly touching me.

"Ok open," he said and can I just say this was the best surprise ever. In front of us was a white sand beach with almost crystal clear water. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Oh my god, Error it's amazing. I didn't think a place more beautiful than Outertale existed," I said mesmerized by the water.

"Well, it reminded me of you. I thought you should see it," he said refusing to look my direction. "Aw, Error, you're so sweet," I said using my hand to turn his head back to me.

"No, I'm a god of destruction," he said jokingly. "Sure buddy, whatever you gotta tell yourself," I laughed.

"Seriously though, I brought you here for two reasons actually," he began. I cocked my head to the side, telling him to continue.

"Well I knew you'd like the view. And I hoped the background would make this easier for me," he said confusing me.

He chuckled kinda nervously. "Well, ya see. Your the best friend I've ever had. And one of the nicest too. I think it's about time I tell you that...that we should be more than friends," he said, "if you agree of course."

"Error, you dork. You didn't have to bring me here to tell me that. I would've said yes no matter what," I said hugging him. He immediately hugged back.

"Yeah, but I've been wanting to show you this, just needed the right occasion I guess," he said as he sat down, then pulling me down so my legs were laid across his lap.

We sat out there, in a very comfortable silence listening to the waves crash until sunset.

"We should probably go, don't want Fresh getting to suspicious," I sat getting up and pulling him up with me.

He nodded and teleported us outside my house. "Alright you should probably go before he sees you," I said as he gave me light peck on my teeth. "Night (n/n)", he said before teleporting away.

I smiled again and turned to open the door. "Hey Y/n. How'd your day go," Fresh asked poking his head out from the kitchen. "Oh ya know. Same as everyday. Go places, meet people," I said trying to sound kinda tired.

"You must've had a good day, ya seem pretty happy. Wait a sec, are you blushing," he asked suddenly looking slightly mad.

"Wha no, why would you think that," I lied, ultimately failing. "Your face is bright (m/c). Y/n where were you," he asked walking out into the living room.

"Oceantale," I said. I mean technically I wasn't lying. "With who," he asked. "A friend," I said. Well now boyfriend if I'm being honest.

"Don't lie to me," he said. "I'm not." "If it was a friend why are you blushing."

"Maybe it wasn't just a friend. But come on Fresh I'm old enough to make the decision to date someone," I yelled.

"Well then who is it. I think you forget as your brother, I'd meet them eventually," he said. He didn't yell, he never did raise his voice to me.

"Well maybe I don't wanna tell you cause you might not like him," I said. "So it's a him, huh."

"Yeah, so what. I know you Fresh, and I know that you won't approve of him," I said sadly.

He sighed and spoke. "Do you really like this guy," he asked. "Yes, he's one of my best friends. Listen no matter what. Promise me you'll give him a chance," I pleaded.

"Fine, but that doesn't mean I'll be nice to him," he said crossing his arms. I rolled my eyes.

"So, you gonna tell me or not," he asked calmly. I hesitated for a moment before nodding.

"It's...um it's Error," I said nervously. "See that's all you had to tell me," he said. "So you're not mad," I said hopefully.

"I'm not happy about it, but if you actually like him, I won't get in your way. I would like to have a word with him though," he said.

"Thanks Fresh," I said hugging him. "Anyway I'm going to bed, been a tiring day."

"What did you two do for you to be tired," he asked, or almost yelled while I walked up the stairs. "None of your business," I yelled back while running to my room.

He ran up the stairs after me, constantly asking what we had done. I'll tell him nothing happened later, but this is funny.

*Bonus*

"So I'm guessing she ended up telling you," Error asked. Fresh nodded. "Listen, I made a promise to her that I wouldn't get in y'all's way. I plan to keep it," he began while getting closer to Error, trying to be intimidating.

"But if you ever hurt her I will strangle you with your own strings, got it," he growled, his eye glowing bright purple from beneath his glasses.

"Dude, chill. You have nothing to worry about," Error said calmly.

"Good, now there are some rules for dating my sister," Fresh began.

"Here we go," Error sighed under his breath.
