"CCPD CONFISCATED EVERYTHINGfrom STAR Labs after the explosion." Hartley pointed out, "Video, Audio, traffic cam footage."
"Okay, so?" Cisco questioned.
"I saw Martin Stein the night STAR Labs went boom. He walked right past me." Hartley told them. "You see Stein specialized in transmutation. Molecular transmography. Quantum splicing." Cisco looked confused, making Hartley explain, like he was talking to a two year old, "Taking two things and making them one."
Cisco still looked confused, Chloe sighing.
"Let's look at the videotape, shall we?" Hartley questioned.
"Okay stop." Hartley told Cisco, making him pause the video. "Now zoom in a few clicks. Now advance it, frame by frame."
"His eyes. They turned white just like Ronnies." Cisco pointed out.
"More importantly, is that fucking Ronnie in the corner?" Chloe pointed to the blast that looked to have Ronnies face placed on it. Cisco continued the video, Hartley speaking again, "Now, stop there. In the mass of energy."
"Looks like-" "Ronnie." Cisco exclaimed.
"I fucking knew it."
"And Professor Stein." Hartley added.
"The dark matter merged them together." Cisco pointed out.
"Explains why Ronnie hasn't seemed quite himself lately." Hartley paused, "It's because he's not. He's Martin Stein." Chloe heard a slight click before Cisco let out a scream and Chloe groaned her hands going to her ears watching as Cisco fell out of his chair, Chloe also falling down.
"You can't say I didn't keep up my end of the bargain." Hartley grabbed the device from earlier out of Chloes pocket, Cisco trying to reach for it before Hartley stepped on it, destroying it.
Hartley kicked Cisco, "I think that makes us even stephen." He told Cisco. "Adios."
"Fucking shit!" Chloe groaned. "Fuck you, Rathaway!" Chloe yelled after him as she held onto her ears.
