Aasha's Pov

I was waiting for Neha to open her eyes for an hour. Then Neha opened her eyes.

"Neha! How are you feeling? Are you all right?" I asked her with concern.

"Aasha. I am sorry" Neha said with her dry voice.

"Neha. Shhh Don't say anything"i said.

"No Aasha. I should have listened to you. I am a bad friend" Neha said with tears rolling down from her cheeks.

"Neha, please don't cry" i said with tears.

"How can he Aasha? Why he did this to me? Why he betrayed me Aasha?" Neha asked while sobbing.

"He is not worth of your tears. So please Neha. Don't cry" I said, wipping her tears.

"Where is he, Aasha?" She asked.

"He and his friends are in police station. Athul is the one who supplied drugs to Varun and others.You don't have to worry Neha. I already complained a case against Athul and others. But the police need your statement" i said. 
Suddenly police inspector entered the room.

"We need Neha's statement" he said. I nodded at him. I left the room when Neha gave a reassured nod to me. After half an hour later, Inspector came out of the room.

"Sir, Is everything ok?" i asked him.

"Neha said that this all happened because of the guy named Athul. That guy and others tried to misbehave with her. But the guy named Varun tried to save her but they drugged him" he said.

"Actually we were searching for Athul a very long time. He is very dangerous and spoiled many students life. Now he will never escape from law. Because the evidence is very strong.Thankyou i will take my leave then" saying this he left the place.

I stood there drumstruk. What happened to Neha? Why she is blinded by love? He is the one who brought her to this situation. But she forgave him that easily. I entered the room. Neha was staring the opposite wall.

"Do you love him that much?"i asked her with fury.

"Aasha! No.Not anymore" she said with determination.

"Then why you changed your statement? Are you mad? You're here in this situation just because of him. Did you forget that? Do you still love him, Neha?" i shouted at her.

"I don't forget anything, Aasha. I will not forget this all in my life. And i don't love him" she said.

"Then why you changed the statement?" i asked her in my stern voice.

"Because i want to punish him for betraying me" she said.

"What?" i asked her totally  confused.

"In farmhouse i saw guilt in his eyes Aasha. He even asked Athul to leave me. Varun did this all because of Athul. He is the master mind behind this all" she said.

"So you forgave Varun?" i asked her.

"Forgiveness is the most hurtful punishment Aasha. I know Varun well. Because of the drug and Athul's friendship he totally changed. Even if i forgive him, he can't forgive himself. If i file a case against him, it will also affect his family" she said this all with tears. 
I sighed at her. 

"Even in this situation you are thinking about him and his family. They are very rich you know that right?" i asked her. 

"Yes. I know that but his family is very sweet, Aasha. If you meet them, then you will realise that. His sister Ananya is very innocent"she said.

"Okay! Leave this topic, Neha. Just concentrate on your health" i said while patting her shoulder.Then the doctor discharged Neha. I took Neha to her apartment. 
I made Neha sleep on her bed and i sat beside her.

"Aasha! Please stay with me yaar" Neha pleaded me.

"Okay! I will stay here untill you get well" i said. Suddenly we heard the doorbell rang. I got up and went to open the door to see who.

"Aashaaa! where is Neha? How is she?" Neha's mom and dad asked me in panic.

"Uncle, Aunty please calm down. She is fine. She is inside in her room" i said. They rushed into her room. I just went to kitchen to make some coffee for them.

Actually i don't want to disturbe them.Then i take the coffee tray to Neha's room. I was extreamly shocked to see uncle and aunty scolding Neha. She was weeping.

"Uncle, aunty please stop" i said placing the tray on the bedside table and hugged Neha.

"You don't know, Aasha.Because of her mistake this all happened. If you didn't reach there on time, i even don't want to think what would have happened" Aunty said while crying.

"What had happened is happened. Now we have to support Neha aunty, please" i said.

"Thankyou so much beta.Thankyou so much for saving her life. Thankgod she has a good friend like you" Uncle said.

"She is my friend uncle.You don't have to say that" i said and served them coffee. Neha slept after taking her medicine.Then we all went to the living room.

"Aasha! Take care of her. If we stay here, she will not be open up. So we are leaving tomorrow" Uncle said. 
"Okay uncle aunty. I will take care of her. Don't worry" i assured them.

Uncle and aunty left early in the morning. When i opened Neha's room she was holding a knife on her wrist. I rushed in and grabbed the knife from her hand and slapped her.

"What the hell Neha? How dare you? To see this why i saved you yesterday. Tell me Neha" i shouted at her in shock. If i were a bit late, she would have cut her wrist.

Oh my God! I was shaking in fear. But she is standing in front of me while sobbing.

"My parents hate me, aren't they? I didn't obeyed your words. So you also hate me, right? I am feeling like a abandon girl without parents and anyone. I wish i could die. I hope god will take my life soon" Neha started to sob saying this all.

"Neha! How dare you to say this all? They are your parents.They are hell worried about you.Do you know how paniced they were yesterday when i called them.They care for you that is why they scolded you last night.You are their only lovely child. Just think in their place. If anything happens to you, what will they do. Just think Neha.They are angry one you but they can't hate you. Do you know how anuty and uncle cried yesterday. But you are saying that they hate you. Uncle and aunty left today early in the morning because they know you will not feel good around them in this situation.That is parents love Neha. Can't you see that love. And why would i hate you stupid.You are my only bestfriend in my life. I will never ever hate you Neha. I consider you as my sister. In my life no one had accepted me as their friend.You are the one who accepted me as your bestfriend. How can you say that idiot? Don't you know how much i love you? This is how much you known about me?" i asked while crying looking into her eyes.

"Sorry, Aasha. I..i am sorry" Neha said and hugged me. I pulled away from the hug.

"Do you know the meaning of the Abandon girl? Who don't have parents or anyone to take care of is called abandon girl. If you have no one to ask, how are you? How was your day? Have you had your lunch?Are sick? then you can say that you are an abandon girl. But you have your lovable parents.They everyday call you to talk with you. How can you say that? i asked her. 

"Sorry. Really sorry. I took a wrong desicion. I will never do that, Aasha. Please forgive me" She said.

"Okay! Then promise me. Nomatter what the problem is, you will never ever take this stupid desicion. Because sucide is not the solution for your problems" i said.

"I promise you Aasha. I will never ever take this stupid disicion" she said while holding my hand.

"And yes don't ever say that you are an abandon girl. And don't ever say that you want god to take your life. Promise me" i said.

"Okok. I promise" she said and we both hugged each other.
