"Stop making such a fuss out of it, Y/n! You look amazing," Hermione squeals, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
"Mumsy got me this dress," I mutter, spinning around and checking myself out in the mirror.
"Then she must have great taste!"
a/n: feel free to choose your own dress but i've put a sample gif of the dress that i picture y/n wearing above.
I look at myself again, wearing the (d/c) dress that my mother gave me a few days back. Hermione helped me do my hair, putting it up into a low braided side bun. I've put some makeup on, but not too much. I don't want to look like a clown.
I only applied some light blush, a little bit of mascara and eyeliner, and a peach lip gloss to finish it all off.
"Oh! Don't forget your tiara, princess," Hermione teases, i playfully roll my eyes as i put it on carefully.
Father gave me a cute little diamond tiara, and he forced me to wear it. He said i had to, so i could look richer than other girls at the ball. He said, and i quote, "You have to look presentable, and high class. You are a Malfoy after all."
"Okay. I think i'm ready," I smile to myself, taking another quick glance at the mirror.
I'm nervous, what if Harry doesn't like to see me all dressed up like this? What if he doesn't think it fits me?
"Harry is going to faint when he sees you," Hermione says in a sing song voice, putting the both of her hands on my shoulders.
"So will Krum! When he sees you, i mean. You look absolutely gorgeous, Hermione."
"I'll catch up with you later, okay?" Hermione smiles, i give her a worried look, but she reassuringly nods. "I'm alright, i just have to clean up a little bit more, go on. Don't make Harry wait."
As i walk down the stairs, we see Harry, Ron, Neville, Seamus, and.. Well, Dean. Wearing their dressrobes.
