"Lady Farah, try to center the energy"

"You say that like it's easy"

Farah just dropped her hands from the fighting position she was in and looked at Thor with a sigh. He looked at her and took a step forward on the grass. Thor decided that all of their training needed to be outside from now on after she literally made a crop circle.

"What does it feel like when you use your powers?" Thor asked looking down at her. Farah sighed.

"I don't know, I guess I get this fuzzy feeling, almost like static," She said looking at him exhausted. They had been training for two hours at this point and her mental capacity had definitely been reached.

Thor nodded, he had noticed how when her powers got stronger, her hair would rise a little bit from the static.

"Alright, well for the next couple of days, I want you to focus on that feeling. Try and create it for yourself and really study it." Thor said looking at her, "You need to know what it feels like to be in control, Lady Farah, but for now we are done" He added.

Farah nodded and ran a hand through her hair. She thanked Thor for the training session in a quick mutter before trudging her way into the compound. She honestly needed a nap at this point, actually, she felt like she needed to hibernate.

She was walking past the kitchen when she saw familiar fluffy brown hair and stopped, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Peter? What are you doing here?" She asked looking at the back of his head. He was leaning against the kitchen counter.

Peter turned and looked at her hesitantly with a frown on his face. Farah gasped when she saw the boy had a giant black eye and multiple cuts above his lips and eye. She walked into the kitchen. He sighed.

"Mr. Stark wants me to stay here for a few weeks," He said scratching the back of his neck, looking down at his shoes, "I-uh had a bit of a rough mission"

Farah gave him a sympathetic look and walked over to him, remembering from when Tony and Pietro had gone to help him a few days ago.

"Did this happen when Tony and Pietro were there?" She asked curiously, inspecting the cuts. They looked rather fresh. Peter shook his head.

"No -uh these kind of happened last night," Peter said not meeting her eyes. He had gotten into a pretty bad scuffle with some tech dealers back in Queens. Tony told him not to go after them, but of course, Peter didn't listen.

"Tony let you go on another mission?" Farah asked skeptically, raising an eyebrow. Peter shook his head.

"No, but please don't tell Mr. Stark!" Peter pleaded and Farah just sighed.

"How are you going to hide the fact that your face looks like that?"

"I- I don't know, I thought maybe he wouldn't notice"

Farah tilted her head and shook it a bit, "Peter he is going to notice" She said, leaning against the counter. Peter looked down and sighed.

"I know," He said rather sadly, "I hope he doesn't make me go home, it took me a long time to convince May to let me come." Peter added just awkwardly tracing his foot on the ground. Farah sighed and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I'll make sure he doesn't kick you out, okay?" She said with a kind smile and Peter looked up at her and nodded. He scratched the back of his neck and began to walk out the door.

"Thanks, F, I think I'm going to go try and get some rest," He said with a sigh before walking out the door. Farah nodded and decided she was going to try and do the same thing.
