"what makes you smile?"

you look down from the late night sky and direct your attention towards your boyfriend.

"you really wanna know?" you ask, teasingly.

luke gives you a look and places his head on your shoulder, his arms around your waist.

"well, the stars," you say pointing up to the shiny sky above.

"flowers," you include, picking a dandelion from the grass and tucking it between lukes ear and his hair.

"and most importantly, you. you make me smile so hard my cheeks hurt. one of the reasons i get up in the morning is because i look forward to seeing you everyday. you make my days so much better and i love you so much more than i could every express to you, lukey." you tell him all of this while playing with the strings on his hoodie, when you look up, you immediately make eye contact with him.

he pulls you into a meaningful kiss with his hand on the back of your neck. you place your hands onto his chest and slowly wrap them around his neck, pulling him impossibly closer to you, now chest to chest.

he pulls back first, leaning his forehead against yours and exhaling.

"it's funny that you think you could ever love me more than i love you." he says, licking his lips.

"oh really? you don't think i love you as much as you love me?"

luke just gives you a nod in response, his hands on your hips before slightly digging in and tickling you.

in effort to get him off you, you straddle him and lay on top of him, holding his hands above his head.

"i didn't know you were into that kinda thing," luke says playfully squinting his eyes.

"only for you, babe," you tease him back, resting your head on his chest.
