The next day....

Davina's pov

The factions ball that Klaus is throwing in order to try and seek out the witches who don't want peace with the Mikaelson's is due to start in just under 2 hours and Rebekah dragged me and Hayley out to get manicures and massages before going to get our hair done.

We came back to the compound about an hour ago and we're just chilling in Rebekah's room as we soak our feet in foot baths to make our feet soft and smooth as well as reduce the swelling me and Hayley are experiencing as our ankles are swollen no thanks to our pregnancies.

"Rebekah!" Klaus suddenly booms from somewhere in the hall "oh what is it now?" Rebekah mutters before the door slams open and Klaus stands in the doorway looking furious with his face going slightly red and his nostrils are flaring and I swear if he was a cartoon character he'd had steam coming out of his ears and probably his nose too.

"Oh dear what's up with you?" I ask but he ignores me as he looks at Rebekah "are you conspiring against me with Marcel?" he accuses "no, why would you think that?" Rebekah asks "I bumped into a witch and she had some interesting things to say about you and Marcel" he says making her scoff.

"And you automatically believe this witch?" Rebekah questions "it was the things she said that made me suspicious. She mentioned how it was so easy for you to shack up with Marcel to ensure he doesn't become a problem. She said you and Marcel had wronged me then she disappeared leaving me questioning things" he explains as he paces back and forth in front of us.

"Nik she's just trying to get in your head and turn you against me. Doesn't that sound like a witch who doesn't want peace? If the witches wanted to destroy the peace, they wanted to get you out of the way, what better way than to pit us against each other so we'll be at each others throats so we don't see them coming" Rebekah points out making him stop.

"You do have a point however I know you and Marcel are keeping something from me and I will find out what it is" he declares before vamp speeding away "well he's a ball full of sunshine and rainbows isn't he?" I say sarcastically while rubbing my baby bump feeling the baby kicking away. "Yeah he's always like that" Rebekah replies "I've gathered that" I respond leaning my head back and closing my eyes.

1 hour later...

Rebekah is now doing mine and Hayley's make up before we get into our dresses "does anyone else think that tonight's gonna go to hell?" Hayley questions "oh yeah I bank on it, something's bound to go wrong and I expect there might be some blood shed" I respond "get use to it girls, you're basically part of this family now through these babies" Rebekah replies as she finishes doing our make up.

"Before we put on our dresses, I just need to go get something from my room" I say getting up and heading out the room to mine and Kol's room. I find Kol rooting through the draws "if you're trying to find the remote good luck with that because I have it right here" I say pulling out the remote from my bra where I had it hidden. I know Kol would go looking for it to try and hide it or something so I couldn't use it to make his vibrating boxers work.

Kol turns around "do I really have to wear the boxers? If you want rough sex just say and I'll be happy to oblige" he says making me giggle "well yeah I could but it's more fun when you make a game out of it" I respond folding my arms across my chest "I'm not worried" he replies making me hum "sure, don't worry I'll go easy on you and be nice about it" I respond with a teasing smile as I walk past him.

"It won't hurt will it?" he asks "it shouldn't" I respond as I grab a pair of high heels from the closet "see you later" I say giving him a light kiss on the lips as I walk past him and leave the room.
