3 days later...

Davina's pov

Today is the day me and Kol are going back to New Orleans with Klaus and Elijah. I'm reluctant about it as I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and leaving my babies which will be the hardest part as aside from a few days ago when I left for Mystic Falls to be turned into an original, I've never left my babies side.

"What is taking her so long? We need to be getting on the road" I hear Klaus complain as I make my way downstairs, feeling sore and exhausted, "I'm right here Klaus, so you can quit complaining" I state and he looks at me "what was taking you so long?" he questions making me fold my arms "I'm sorry Klaus, I was just busy expressing milk for my children for the next few days so they don't starve while I'm gone" I retort making him go quiet.

"Well, I didn't know that" he grumbles "well, you didn't ask" I retort folding my arms and winching "darling, are you alright?" Kol asks looking concerned as he noticed me winching.

 "I'm fine, I've just expressed so much milk that my breasts are now really sore and I'm pretty sure I'm out of milk right now" I retort "I can massage them for you, perhaps that will help" he replies wiggling his eyebrows making me giggle. "No, Kol. Now's not the time, we've got to get on the road" Elijah scolds pulling Kol away by the collar of his shirt and out the door. 

"But Elijah, my darling needs tending too, she needs the assistance of my magic hands" Kol whines as Elijah continues dragging him away making me bite my lip to stifle my laughter. 

"Well, there goes your daddy being hauled out the door by your uncle Elijah" Rebekah commentates as she walks over with Veida who is giggling her little head off "hey, baby girl what are you giggling at?" I coo as Rebekah stands next to me and I tickle Veida's stomach making her giggle even more.

"Me and daddy are going to miss you and your brother so much but you'll see us again before you know it" I say gently while caressing her cheek and she just stares at me. I smile and plant a kiss on her forehead "who has Axel?" I ask looking around "Kayla does, she's just put him down for a nap" she explains making me nod.

"Give him a kiss for me when he wakes up, yeah?" I ask and she nods "of course" she replies "now there are enough bottles made for the twins for the next 3 days. Hopefully we won't be apart for too long so you don't run out" I explain making her nod "see you soon" she says as she gives me a hug which I return before pulling away.

"Good luck with my brothers and if anyone or my mother starts shit, put them in their place and kick their ass" she advises making me giggle "trust me, I will. I'm not about to take any shit" I respond making her smile.

I bid goodbye to my sister and Hope before leaving the house and making my way over to the car where Kol is waiting with his brothers "are you finally ready to go?" Klaus asks looking impatient "yes, now calm down" I respond before getting in the car without another word. The three of them climb in, Kol sitting next to me making me smile as he pulls me into his side after shutting the door and Klaus starts up the car and drives away from the house.

4 hours later....

After a long ass drive, we finally arrive in New Orleans "we're here" I say squeezing Kol's hand "where did you leave mother and Finn again?" Kol questions as he leans forward "in a shipping container, that is sealed shut with magic. Marcel's been watching the container while we were gone" Klaus explains as we pull up outside the compound.

We get out the car and head into the compound as Klaus pulls his phone out "who are you texting? Camille?" Kol teases making Klaus roll his eyes "no, I'm texting Marcel to bring mother and Finn to us and for the record, Camille is not my type" Klaus retorts as he types on his phone.

"I was kidding, Nik. I know who you really have a thing for" Kol states with a smirk as he walks away, grabbing my hand and leading me away. We head upstairs to what was once our room before I left to go in hiding.

"I'm surprised it's not littered with dust" Kol states as he pushes the door open to find the room is in pristine condition. "Your siblings obviously made sure it was in perfect condition for when we would eventually come back" I say as I enter the room and I hear the door shut before I'm grabbed from behind and spun around making me giggle.

I wrap my arms around his neck as I press my lips against his making him smile as he rests his hands on my hips. As the kiss deepens, he pulls me closer and my sensitive breasts cause me to pull away with a hiss at the contact. "Sorry, darling forgot about your sensitive breasts" he apologizes making me shake my head "it's fine, nothing a nice hot bubble bath and some loving from you won't fix" I say with a smile as I place my hands on his chest.

He smirks, drawing me closer "I can certainly give you some loving" he muses before pressing his lips against mine making me hum. I giggle as he squeezes my ass "watch those hands" I warn in a playful tone "don't see you complaining" he retorts as he squeezes my ass again before giving it a light slap making me giggle.

I pull away as I hear Marcel arrive meaning Esther and Finn are likely here. "Do you want me to draw you a bath now?" Kol asks cupping my chin "later, we have to go confront that dreadful mother of yours first" I respond making him sigh "of course" he replies as I lean up and give him another kiss. 

"Whatever she tries to tell you about me, don't listen to her. She's a liar and she can't be trusted" he warns making me smile softly "do you really think I would ever trust a single word of the woman who wanted our children and me dead? I know she will try and put lies in my head and try to make me doubt you or try to turn me against you but that's not going to happen" I assure him as I grab his hand and he smiles before kissing me.

"Come on, let's get this over with" he states as he pulls away and leads me out the room and down the stairs.
