"I can't promise you anything, Gavin..." mahinang sambit ko.

Nakakalungkot man sabihin pero 'yon ang totoo. I can't promise him anything. I am not sure kung kaya ko na bang pumasok sa isang relasyon sa ngayon.

"You don't have to worry about it." umiling iling ito. "What is important to me is that you acknowledge my feelings for you..."

What he said melts my heart. How could anyone be so brute that she left this man and broke his heart?

"Gavin, I want you to know that you are special to me and I appreciate you." I hold his hand. "Ayaw kong pumasok sa isang bagay na hindi ko kayang panindigan dahil hindi pa ko buong buo."

"It's okay, naiintindihan ko." he cupped my face. "Just bear with me sometimes if I wasn't able to say everything and if sometimes I can't explain what's in my head."

"Sanay naman na ako na hindi ka palasalita."

"But you were annoyed earlier..."

"It's not because you didn't tell me where you are or your whereabouts..." sabi ko sa kanya na hindi ko masambit ang dahilan.

"Because someone answered your call..." he sighed. "Those are some circumstances that I cannot control sometimes... but, I wanted you to trust me."

"What can I do if I have trust issues? You know that it is not easy for me to accept all of it."

"We can work things out as long as we are communicating... that's all I know."

I nodded and smiled.

"So are we good?" he asked.

I nodded again and he pulled me closer to him. He hugged me so tight.

"Oh God, I missed you." he whispered.

Natawa ako dahil isang araw lang naman ito halos na nawala.

"I won't be staying here." We are heading towards the door. Naalala ko na nasa unit ko si Shane at for sure naiinip na ito. Ang tagal din naming nag-usap ni Gavin.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Kapag nalaman ni Dad na nandito ko, pupuntahan niya ako." aniya.

Na-curious na naman tuloy ako sa mga sinabi nito.

"I'll explain it some other time. In the meantime, you have to finish what you are doing. Shane is waiting." akay nito sa akin palabas ng unit niya.

"Aalis ka?"

Tumango lang ito.
