Y/N's POV
We got back to Mother Base. We got on the medical platform. I see soldiers coming with a stretcher. I pick up Quiet and get out of the chopper. DD follows me. I put Quiet on the stretcher. The soldiers start taking her into the medical facility. I follow them. We get into a room.
Soldier: We'll do what we can.
Y/N: Okay...
Once again before I left, Quiet grabbed my arm. She was grunting in pain.
Quiet: Boss... I-I...
I put my other hand on hers.
Y/N: It's okay... just rest, they'll take care of you.
Code Talker comes in.
Code Talker: Good job. We'll give her the Wolbachia treatment. She'll make it.
Y/N: Thank you.
I walk out of the facility. I see Ocelot and Kaz.
Ocelot: How is she?
Y/N: She's going through treatment now, she'll make it.
Ocelot: That's good to hear.
Kaz stays silent.
Y/N: Kaz?
Kaz speaks.
Kaz: Maybe I was too harsh on her...
I was a little shocked to hear that, Kaz?
Y/N: Not the common hate for her?
Kaz: I see it now, she's not our enemy, I always saw her as just a XOF soldier on a mission to take you out... but I was wrong.
Ocelot: See... I told you.
Y/N: I'll be in my quarters.
I look at DD, who was next to me.
Y/N: Let's go, DD.
DD barks and follows me to quarters. I use my iDroid to play a new song tape.
We walk inside my quarters. I lay on my bed. DD jumps up and lays down as well. I just listen to the music and rest.
