Frisk decides to lay down and stare at the ceiling, thinking intently about their past decisions in life. Wondering what they should do for the future. They fall asleep and wake up to smell something delicious. They look to their left and see fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and sweet Iced tea with seedless lemon, at the side of the glass. With a few sugar packets at the side. A spoon and a note, along with a few napkins as well.

Frisk picks up and reads the note.

"I know you wanted some time alone, here is your fresh meal and I hope you are alright...! The Chocolate Pie is Fresh and in the oven if you want a slice. The Vanilla Ice Cream is in the Freezer. With love, your mom Toriel."

Frisk sighs. They eat their meal, later finishing it, using their napkin and throwing it away in their trash can. They drink their tea and place it back down, briefly leaving their bedroom and entering the kitchen, they put their dishes in the sink. Toriel is washing Dishes. Frisk is silent, they open the fridge, getting a piece of chocolate pie, they put the pie back and leave without saying anything to her.

Toriel thinks to herself. *Something is awfully wrong, they normally love talking to me, Frisk is usually happy.*

She sighs, looking at the clock and it's now 5:58 PM. She finishes the dishes and dries her hands. She decides to take a nap, the whole house is clean. Frisk is upset and has a lot on their mind, their stress has her worried and hurt.

Toriel walks over to her couch and lays down for a nap. She slowly falls asleep and wakes up in darkness. Toriel speaks in a nervous tone.

"Hello!? Frisk!?? Did the power go out? Why is it so quiet?"

She slowly gets up and realizes immediately she's on the ground and that there is nothing around her. She feels around. She calls out again.

"Frisk! Where are you!?"

But nobody came.

Toriel slowly gets up and summons some fire, hoping to see her surroundings, there is nothing around her. No furniture. Nothing of her home, not even the sounds of rain over the rooftop. She tries not to panic. She tells herself calmly.

"This is just a dream, I will wake up."

She pinches her right shoulder very hard, but nothing happens. She resummons the fire, to see clothing of someone very tall, she jumps back and she says in a cautious tone.

"Who's there!? W-Where am I!? What Trickery is this?"

They reply in a serious tone.

"You'll find out soon enough! It is only a matter of time! The clock keeps ticking for everything, But your ticking is almost up!"

Toriel growled.

"EXPLAIN!"

They replied in what sounds like a sly tone.

"Soon I will, just be patient."

They disappear, she feels a hand on her right shoulder and, suddenly there is a voice heard in her left ear that starts to distort while sounding intense.

"Very soon!"

Looking over to her right and sees a hand of a skeleton, wondering who they are. She asks.

"Who are you?"

They reply.

"An old friend and ally! Farewell!"

Toriel wakes up with a gasp, in her living room, her face is wet and heart beating fast.

Frisk in front of her worried, they ask..

"Mom!? Are you alright? You've been out for hours now. I couldn't get you to wake up. I called the ambulance, but nobody accepts monsters yet in hospitals."

Toriel saw Frisk tighten their fists.

Frisk looking upset, they sigh. "I am sorry."

Toriel speaks to Frisk feeling confused. "Sorry for what?"

Frisk replies in a repentant tone. "I apologize, I have regrets for how I acted towards you earlier. It was wrong of me. I had a horrible week, trying to solve everybody's problems. Monsters, humans. trying to make it possible still for all of us to be at peace, but no matter what I do. nothing is working bad enough the press keeps harassing me at every turn. But I won't give up. I just wish humans would give monsters a chance."

Toriel sighs. "I am sure they will. Don't give up."

Frisk smiles at Toriel and is filled with Determination. "I will never give up. Everybody is counting on me mom."

Toriel speaks to Frisk, with concern in her voice, thinking back on her dream. "My child."

Frisk replies. "Yes?" Toriel replies. "I have a question to ask."

Frisk tilts their head. "What is the question?"

Toriel replied. "Have you ever felt like you were being watched? that something was wrong? feelings that bothered you.."

Frisk replies in an apprehensive voice. "Yeah, I have felt all of those feelings more than once. But I just ignore it. I am sure it's nothing serious, really."

Toriel smiled at them, they embrace in a hug. Toriel looks at Frisk and says. "Why don't we call over a few friends to lighten the mood?"

Frisk grins happily. "Yeah, I'll call Sans and Papyrus! Undyne and-"

Toriel interrupts them and says. "Lets not invite too many guests, I am worn out from what happened earlier. Why not just Sans and his Brother?"

Frisk nods. "I will go and call them, and ask alright? I will explain everything to them. We can have some snacks and watch some movies, if you want."

Toriel replies. "That would be lovely.." Frisk walks over to the phone and starts dialing it.
