The Chapter title is: Gone in Time.

Many years ago...

Temmie Village, a quiet, calm and hidden away place where Temmies reside. The soft echoes of nearby rivers and waterfalls could be heard faintly. A young Temmie ran by, greeting his mother. "Mom, mom! I learned how to make healing potions!"

He was excited and bounding up and down. The older, motherly Tem looked down at her son, "Oh? That's wonderful news! I see those classes have paid off, hm?"

She walked by and sat down.

The young Temmie nodded, "Mhm! I hope I get to be a scientist one day..." he played with the dirt using his gloved paw, "Then I can help dozens of monsters!", already perking up. The younger Temmie was around 14 years old, he loved science and potion-making.

His mother was a fighter, defending the village when needed. He walked away after saying goodbye and stumbled across a girl he knew, her hair was a bit curly and shorter. She went up to greet him halfway. "Hey! There you are! You've been so caught up in your studies I thought you forgot about me!" she laughed.

He rolled his eyes and chuckled while walking away with her. "Sorry, sorry.. Doing this stuff is just my DREAM y'know?" His voice was softer. "I want to make sure I make the most of it!"

She smiled warmly and continued walking towards a small table next to a food truck. She ordered a huge vegan burger, it was very greasy and sloppily made. She took a huge bite and talked with her mouth full, "So.. Whatcha want?"

He looked disgusted and shuddered. "I'll just have a salad... I don't want to get dirty...", he looked at the Tem making the food, who nodded at him.

The girl scoffed, "You're so clean. Never wanting to get dirty, never wanting to touch something without gloves... Live a little!", she rested one paw on her cheek.

He shook his head quickly while grabbing his food and sitting back down to eat, "Yeah, no, thank you...", he smiled nervously.

She speaks between bites, "Ever wonder about the DeEp TeM HiStOrEe", she mocks how Temmies speak to outsiders.

He sighs, "The dragon? It doesn't come by often but I've heard great things about it.", he thinks for a moment, *Hehey, did you mock the classic Temslang?* he kid.

She continues, "YAYA, Tem wundur if DRAGON reeeeely exist..".

He rolls his eyes once more, "Man, I can't believe other Temmies talk in that voice.. I'm glad we're further in the village to not really be seen.".

She nod in agreement and finished her food. "Well, I gotta get going, bud.", she sits up, "Cya tomorrow? Same place and time?", looking back at him.

He nods, "Yup! See you then!", he waved as she walked away. He played with the remains of his salad and finished eating in time, getting up once realizing it was getting late. He walked inside his home and made his way to his bed.

Getting all comfy, he thought about the girl but tried to shoo it away. Then thought about the dragon she mentioned. He hadn't ever really seen it, but he knew it was good and helped so many lives. Nothing bad could ever happen again, not with him watching over them all. "I can't wait for tomorrow... I'm so excited to see her again..." he thought to himself as he peacefully slept.

The next day.
