Date night

You're getting ready to go out with Lauren. Lauren's booked a table at this really nice restaurant for you both. Which you're both very excited to go to.

"Babe?"

You turn and see Lauren in her pyjamas.

"You okay?" You ask.

"Yeah.. can we stay home for date night?" Lauren asks.

"I thought you were excited to go?" You say.

"Yeah but i kinda just wanna sit and cuddle on the sofa with you." Lauren says.

"Get takeout and watch movies?" You ask.

Lauren nods.

"Is that okay? Cos we can still go if you were wanting to go." Lauren says.

"I'll be honest I've been wanting a stay at home date with you for ages." You say.

Lauren smiles. You call up the restaurant and cancel the booking and then change. You put on your pyjamas amd go downstairs together. While you order the food, Lauren finds both your favourite movie to watch together.

When you've ordered the food, you go get the money and then sit down on the sofa. Lauren sits next to you she her head on your shoulder. You wrap an arm around her and then leave the other on your lap. Lauren takes this opportunity to rest her hand on yours.

The food soon arrives and you both eat while watching the movie together. While you're not looking, Lauren throws a pea at you. You look at her and she smiles. You smile. She looks away. You throw a pea at her. She gasps and looks at you.

"Babe there was absolutely no need for that." She says.

"No?" You say.

"Nope. No need whatsoever." Lauren says.

You nod.

"Okay i see what we're doing." You say, putting down your plate with only the peas left cos you forgot to ask for them to be taken out of the food.

"What're we doing?" Lauren asks, putting her plate down.

You grab a handfull of peas, throw one at her and run for the kitchen island.

"Hey no fair i dont have that many peas!" Lauren yells, grabbing the peas.

You have the pea battle which you one because she ran out of peas to throw at you. So now you're both cleaning up the peas while a movie plays in the background.

"See this is why i like home dates cos you cant have a pea fight at a restaurant." You say.

"I mean you could but you'd probably get kicked out." She says.

"True. But you know what i mean." You say.

"Yeah i know what you mean." Lauren says.

You both put the peas in the bin and then lay on the sofa together, Lauren layed between your legs with her head on your chest. Your arms wrapped around her.

"Y/n?"

You hum and look at her.

"What's up my love?" You ask.

"I love you."

You smile.

"I love you too."

You place a kiss on her forehead. She smiles and shuffles a little before getting really comfortable in your arms.
