Princess part 2

You're leaned up against a fence when...

"Y/n?"

You turn and see Lauren.

"Lauren Jauregui? What are you doing down here? I woulda expected you to be relaxing in your big ass bedroom." You say.

"I'm the Lauren you've been talking to."

It takes almost 2 minutes before it actually fully reaches your brain and then an extra few minutes for you to register it.

"WHAT?!"

Not the answer she was expecting. But then again, how are you supposed to react?

"I'm so sorry that i didnt tell you sooner. I just didnt want it to be a big deal." Lauren says.

"Being the princess IS a pretty big fucking deal Lauren. Wow. Oh my god." You say.

You feel a headache coming on so you start to rub your temples to try sooth yourself.

"Okay so lemme understand. You're Lauren Jauregui as in the princess of our little town. We've been friends for around 3 months and you tell me the first real time we actually meet? Am i right?" You ask.

Lauren nods.

"Okay so this isn't some big dream. Noted." You say still rubbing your temples.

You take a deep breath.

"So does your mom or dad know you're here then?" You ask.

"Dad does. I kinda yelled at him before i left. Not entirely sure about mom..... why do you wanna know this?" Lauren asks.

You shrug.

"Trying to keep my brain from falling out through my ears at this point." You state.

"Are you in anyway like.... mad?" Lauren asks.

She's a little worried with the way you're reacting.

"Why do you think that?" You ask frowning a little.

"Cos you're reacting a little strange." Lauren says.

"No. No please dont get that impression. For some reason my brain isn't accepting this information." You say.

"So you're not mad?" Lauren asks.

"No but i am very very confused." You say.

"Why?" Lauren asks.

"Why you decided to message me out of all the people in our little town thing." You say.

"Truthfully, i think you're a cool person and i just wanted to get to know you." Lauren says.

"Okay. What makes you think I'm a cool person? I rarely ever leave the house." You say.

"You've caught my eyes whenever you do leave your house." Lauren states.

"I have? How?" You ask.

"I dunno what it is to be honest. It's just something about you that... i dunno." Lauren says.

"Who knew you would be a charmer? Not me." You say.

"Ha. Ha. Funny." Lauren says.

"I know. I just cant help myself sometimes." You say.

Lauren laughs a little.

"So what do we do?" You ask.

Lauren shrugs.

"Take a walk round the park?" You ask.

Lauren smiles and nods. After spending the entire day at the park, you two sit underneath a tree.

"Today was fun." Lauren says.

"Yeah. It's the longest amount of time I've spent outside my house before." You say.

Lauren laughs.

"You might be laughing but it's true." You say.

"Genuinely?" Lauren asks.

"Genuinely. Mom doesn't mind as long as i get my school stuff done." You say.

"Wow. My mother wont stop bothering me until I'm outside." Lauren says.

"That might have something to do with the fact that you're the princess Lauren." You say.

"Ha. Ha." Lauren says.

You laugh a little.

"So what do you wanna do now?" You ask.

Lauren stands up. You frown a little and stand up.

"What?" You ask.

"Okay so i wanna do something but I'm scared that if i do it will ruin the friends thing we have and i dont wanna ruin it." Lauren says.

"Okay 1, slow down. 2, whatever it is, it cant be that bad." You say.

"Okay. Okay." Lauren says.

She takes a deep breath and nods. She then leans in causing you to lean in. However you both stop just before you kiss as if you're asking for permission or something. You both then lean back in and connect into a kiss. Yours and hers arms stay by your sides until you decide to wrap yours around her waist.

This move causes Lauren to wrap her arms around your neck. Slowly though. When you both pull out, you stand there a little breathless for a second.

"That was...." You manage to say.

"Amazing." Lauren whispers.
