" Neil kya tu free hai " Simran asks Neil on the phone as he picks up her call.
" bol, ab kya kaam karwana hai tujhe mujh se...." He says this because the preparations for the marriage are going on in full swing in both the houses, due to which the work of the bride's brother is not ending here. it doesn't matter how big a business man you are, you will have to work extra for your sister's wedding.
" Kaam sirf itna hai ki tujhe Avu ko pick karke meri designer ke paas laana hai.."
" Kya..?"
" Haan, dekh main shaadi ke pehle wahaan nahi jaa sakti warna main khud avu ko pick kar leti..... aur Raj busy hai... par avu ki dress bhi important hai, to please bhai use uske ghar se pick karke mere paas le aa..."
" Wo sab to theek hai par uske bhai ko koi problem nahi hogi, apni behan ko to wo kisi ke saath chhodta nahi hai..." Neil says this thinking about Raj's over protective behaviour towards his sister
" Raj ko tujh se kya problem hogi ? Aur dekh tu ye sab bahaane mat bnaa...maine Raj se is baare me puchh liya hai.... ab wo driver ke saath bhi use bhejne ko ready nahi tha isiliye mujhe tujhe bolna pad raha hai, please bhai itna sa kaam karde..."
" Ok ok main thodi der me wahaan pahuchta hu.." Saying this both hang up the phone.
After some time
Neil reaches Mehra house where he meets Neela, he bows down and takes blessings from Neela
" Aunty, Avni kahan hai...?" He says sitting on the couch
" Ready ho rahi hai, simran ne btaaya ki tum aa rahe ho use lene..."
" Jii, inki to shopping hi khtm nahi ho rahi hai....kabhi kuch to kabhi kuch" He talks about his sister and Avni, because since Avni's college is over, both of them are out to do some or the other shopping all day.
" Bachcha, shaadi me itna to hota hi hai.... tum ladko ko kya hai... simpal se to kapde hote hai tumhare....ladkiyon ko waqt lagta hai...." Neela speaks in support of both her daughters.
" Jii aunty main samjh gya, aap ladies ka shopping me koi muqabala nahi kar sakta..."
Neela only smiles at this and continues to speak
" Accha tum baitho, main tumhare liye coffee lekar aati hu..."
" Nahi aunty main kuch nahi lunga please..." Neil speaks stopping Neela
" Avni aa gyi hai, hum chalte hai...." He says seeing Avni coming down the stairs
" Aree par tumne to kuch liya hi nahi..thodi der to ruk jao " Neela said this
" Nahi aunty, mujhe kuch kaam hai, main to bas avni ko lene aaya tha.. baaki aapke haath ki chize khaane fir kabhi aaunga...." He says this and sees Avni reached there listening to him and Neela
" Chale ?" Neil questions Avni to which Avni just nods in yes
Then Neela comes to drop both of them till the door.
Neil opens the passenger seat door of his car for Avni and Avni looks at him.
" Baitho..." Hearing this, Avni sees Neela standing at the door waving bye to her with a smile, she too smile and says bye to her mother and sits in the car.
Neil also gives a smile to Neela and then sits in the car and starts the car.
Moving on, both remain silent for a while
"If you want, you can put your handbag on the back seat..." he says looking at the bag on her lap
Hearing his words Avni turns a little to keep her bag on the back seat, but her eyes fall on something that brings a smile to her face.
