He has got the greatest smile. The perfect personality..His humble words. The way he speaks, the way he speaks to me.! The way he looks around and when he makes eye contact with me. It gets harder to breathe when he's around.
"Eunhi?" Vernon shook me and I flinched, rubbing my left eye, realizing I dozed off.
"Sorry. I was daydreaming." I chuckled and we got off. We walked in, greeting the employees and went into the meeting room once again. "Hello!" Me and Vernon both bowed and sat ourselves down. We got ourselves aquainted with each other again and were able to blend in within a short amount of time.
"We're going to start rolling so please just be yourselves." The staff prepared the cameras and they fixed our mics before we started.
"Welcome to 'Partners We Shall Be'!" We all synced in together and Seokjin sunbaenim continued.
"How long are we doing this for?" He questioned out of the blue.
"Around a week." IU replied and I nodded.
"A week?! Ai..I guess I'll leave now!" He made us all laughed and then he turned to me and Vernon. "You 2. You both look like you're dating or something!" He mentioned.
"Right? I saw the bracelets too." Seunggi said pointing at our wrists.
"It was a gift since I missed his birthday." I replied calmly and they all clapped. We on with another topic.
"Today..We'll be doing a review on everything right?" Joongki sunbaenim took out papers after coming back from somewhere.
"Yeah!" We synced in.
"Where should we head first?" He placed down a pen and waited for our suggestions.
"Jeju island." I joked around, thinking of Seungkwan.
"We could actually!" He exclaimed and my eyes widened, shocked it'd work.
"Actually?" Vernon couldn't take it to heart either.
"Yeah. Just as long as you 2 will be able to handle the challenges." He replied, sitting himself down and me and Vernon looked at each other.
"We can handle anything!" Me and Vernon grinned cheekily and we continued on with the talking. After around an hour we wrapped it up and left. Vernon left me for the moment because he had to rush to meet a staff for something. I bought a drink by a nearby convenience store and just sat by a bench to drink.
I watched kids play with their parents or maybe siblings. Then I could hear a wail of crying beside me. I turned my head seeing a child cry, probably because of his balloon up in the tree.
I didn't see any adult or parent come to help so I stood up. "Are you okay?" I asked, glancing at the balloon.
"My balloon got stuck..while running.." I folded my arms thinking how I'd get it. It was pretty high up or maybe just barely out of my reach.
"I don't think i can reach it without popping the balloon.." I tiptoed but it was at the end of my fingertips. The poor child kept crying but I comforted him. I wanted to get the balloon down as soon as possible. That stupid balloon wasn't cooperating!
But then I saw a hand reach out for the tring, seeing a SEVENTEEN ring on his pinky. I stopped tiptoeing and I stayed flat on my feet before looking at him. "Joshua." I mumbled and his smile went over to the boy.
"Your noona can't reach it. She's just a little bit small!" He interacted with the boy and the boy laughed.
"But Noona was cool.!" He cheered giving me and Joshua a hug.
"Where are your parents?" I watched in silence, enjoying every moment of his kindness.
"They're over there!" The speaking began to fade, my feelings growing somewhat stronger. "Noona! Thank you for helping!" He thanked me and I stroked his head.
"You're welcome! Be more careful hm?" I fixed his hair and he nodded. He ran off to his other friends and I stretched back up. "Thanks for helping back there." I chuckled and he laughed.
"Always." He patted the back of my head. "You're so pretty." He complimented me but I didn't know if he meant it just as friends..He usually never said those things.
"Thanks. And you're handsome!" I poked his cheek and he smiled.
"I know I am." He flicked his hair and I punched him lightly on the shoulder.
"You and your jokes!" I snickered, finishing my drink. "What did you do this morning?" I asked and he was shuffling his bracelet around.
"I just stared at the bracelet most of the time. I got scolded by Jeonghan for looking at it too much." His cheeky smile showing and I laughed but I was really glad they all liked it. "What do you want for your birthday?" He looked at me and I threw the drink away.
"Hm..I guess just all you 13 staying with me forever." I grinned, he seemed shocked though.
"No gifts?!" His eyes widened.
"You already are a gift to me." I pinched his cheeks and he pulled me into a hug.
"I'm glad we met." He mumbled and I patted his back lightly, enjoying the breeze, along with his warm hands.
"I'm going to be 22..It feels somewhat weird." I tucked my hair and he just listened to me talk. "I found someone special by the way." I wanted to give him hints.
"What? What do you mean by that?" I caught his attention suddenly and his head flicked at me.
"I think I really like this person." I rubbed my arm and his face was kept neutral. Maybe he doesn't like me.
"I see..He must be real nice then! You should introduce me sometime!" He exclaimed, and I agreed. But how could I when it's him.?
Joshua's Pov.
I was feeling sensitive after she said it. Is this person really a good person? I didn't want to show..But I think I was feeling jealousy creep up on me. I didn't know if I could hold in my jealousy. But if they ever do end up together..I do wish her the best. It's just upetting, letting her go.
