History Class

"Everyone please pull out your textbooks and turn to page 342," Mr. Jackson rambled on, in his monotone voice.

In contrast, the class was in action. Silently, spit balls were flying through the air. Notes were passed and whispers circled around.

Everyone was in full action, contacting their friends and annoying others. Even the faint sound of an Instagram notification was heard.

This was the 5th period, history everyday.

Till one day. Today.

The door creaks open loudly and everyone's head jerks up.

Standing at the doorway was a girl, about five foot, dressed in all red.

Yes, head to toe in red.

She quickly mumbled something to Mr. Jackson who told her to sit down.

"Who knows the answer to #6?"

Everyone, as usual, slumped lower in their seats not raising their hand.

But the new girl's hand shot up in the air.

"Yes?"

She went up to the board and wrote:

I H8 U

"The answer to number 6 IH8U!," She declared proudly.

"Incorrect."

But the whole class was in a fit of giggles and laughter. The girl had literally written "I hate you" on the board.

She smiled broadly then sat down. Everyone was watching her to see what she'd do next.

"Moving on to number 7, who knows the answer?"

Again she stood up and wrote her answer on the board and the whole class found it amusing.

Through all of class, the girl kept going up and writing silly, incorrect, answers on the board.

By the end of the day, everyone was raising their hands- wanting to give it a shot.

And of course- Mr. Jackson never noticed.
