Pellet

Splashing of the silver strings, reverberated on my windows.

Upon, removing the obstacle by opening the window, it pelted in, charging on my bare skin. My body shivered a little, as it kissed my nakedness.

Walking towards the prattling drops, I looked out at the street, my hands dangling in the rain. So washed and fresh! The petrichor worked wonders, spraying it's perfume all over.

The dust spiked street seemed to be, obviously washed and clean, the dirt on the road swayed away, ending in the river for converting to silt.

The greenery around, danced in happiness as the pellets of the elixir, played with lascivious smirk.

Rain can bring wonders to the world... I heaved a heavy sigh, How wonderful it'll be, if the rain washes away the dirt in people's mind and heal the broken heart to find, yet another happiness?

What do you think of the shortest story I ever wrote?

Mark of the leap year is today and I wanted to make a story regarding it but :-( I got no time to do that. However, I did this little story. Hope you enjoyed it :-)
