Song: Cake by Melanie Martinez (I changed some of the lyrics)

Basic Story: Jack keeps begging Mark for a cake, and when Mark gives in and buys it, he leaves a few notes every time Jack goes for a slice.

Warnings: If you don't know the song it might sound weird but if you know it then I'm proud of you

[Jack's Pov]

"Mark look!" I said like a child, running over to the display of cakes that were at the front of a cake store.

"Hm?" He said, stopping in mid walk and turning his head to look at me.

I put my hands against the display and eyed the cakes, there were so many...

"Jack we didn't come to the mall to get cake, come on!" He said, starting to walk again.

I didn't move from the display and Mark was too warm hearted to walk away from me, so he walked back.

"Come on Jack..." He said, trying to get me to walk with him.

"Chocolate...Cream filling...Icing..." I said, pointing at the different cakes.

Mark walked by my side and let out a heavy sigh.

"If I get one, will you stop dribbling over the display and walk with me?" He persuaded.

"Yes, maybe, yes." I said with a giggle.

Mark let out a chuckle. "Alright, we'll get one when we're about to leave okay?"

I nodded and took his hand, walking along with him to more shops.

I opened the door and put down my bag of new games, going back and holding the door open for Mark.

He smiled to thank me and put the cake on the table, letting out a heavy sigh.

"I almost forgot what it was like to go outside and away from my computer..." He said in a strong voice, making me laugh.

"Now, no touching that cake until tonight okay?" Mark told me while he moved the cake into the kitchen, raising an eyebrow at me.

"Okay, I'll try." I said.

~Time Skip~

I was sat on the couch, messing around on my phone while Mark was somewhere else.

"Jack!" I heard Mark yell. "You can have your cake now!"

I shot up from the couch and walked to the kitchen quickly, seeing Mark walk out with a smile on his face.

"Enjoy your cake Jackieboy~" He said with a smirk, walking upstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and saw the cake on the counter, but something was on top of it.

I walked over to it to find a piece of paper with some writing on it, Mark's handwriting.

'Your heart is warm like an oven'

I took it off the cake and went to ask Mark about it, but when I got upstairs he was in his bed asleep.

Sneaky fucker.

I went back down to the kitchen, took a slice, and smiled at the note he had left.

The next night, I went for another slice, and sure enough, there was a note there.

'Your kiss is sugary sweet'

A huge smile spread across my face, and I took a slice.

The notes kept on carrying on each time a took a slice, and I never asked Mark about it.

The next night...
'We've got all the ingredients including me loving you'

Again...
'I love the frosting on your heart'

And again...
'You taste like buttercream'

Second to last slice of cake...
'You're a slice of my heart made of cake'

And finally...
'I'll give you a slice of heaven tonight'

I smirked and took the note, walking upstairs and knocking on the bedroom door.

I heard Mark murmur and I opened the door, seeing him look at me with one eye open.

I held up the note and smirked at him, walking towards the bed.

"So...a slice of heaven eh?" I told him.

He chuckled and grabbed my arm, pulling me down to the bed and wrapping his arm around me.

"Maybe not tonight...I'll give you one tomorrow night...I promise..." He said in a tired voice.

I chuckled and let my body relax, putting an arm around Mark as well.

"You better keep that promise." I told him.

He nodded with his eyes closed, moving his body to be comfortable with mine.

"So are my kisses sugary sweet? Do I taste like buttercream?" I asked him.

He smiled and opened his eyes. "Well, let's see..." He moved his hand to the back of my head and pushed it towards his lips.

"Mmff-!" I said as my lips met his, the feeling of Mark kissing my lips and licking them softly, tasting them surprised me.

He leaned back and smirked. "Yep. You definitely taste very sweet and sugary." He told me with a quiet chuckle.

He buried his head in the crook of my neck and stayed there.

"You also smell like vanilla..." He whispered.

"Is that good?" I asked him.

"Of course, I love vanilla..." He whispered, before falling asleep.
