How come I remember you?

I just want to go home! I have no one, I have no way of contacting anyone anymore and I miss my family! He says it's for the better that I can't contact them, he said it could cause them to go crazy, I will go crazy of the thought of never seeing them again.

All these thoughts were zooming through my mind as I was on the search for the energy source, it was to much, emotions were getting the better of me and I couldn't control them, it was to difficult, I slowly buckled down to my knees sobbing away to myself, I felt someone patting my back I looked around and saw the wise man,

"Hush now little one, what's the matter?" He questioned

"I-I- I'm sorry sir, I know I shouldn't be upset but but it's him!" I whispered

"Yes I see, he's been causing a lot of trouble lately" the wise man admitted

"Sir he made me vanish when I was contacting my sister in the hospital after she awoke from her coma, he made my sister vanish as soon as I was about to apologize after our fight and he took my energy away!" I cried "I have no means of contact"

"Vanessa my child as you know before you entered this past life I myself was in charge, everyone had energy and were free to do as they pleased as long as it made them happy but days before you arrived something terrible happened, He took advantage of his energy and used it to wipe out most of the population, Vanessa he was dangerous, there was not much we could to stop him, somehow he found a way to limit our energy and store the remainder somewhere" the wise man explained

"But there has to be a way, a way to regain your heir of the thrown!" I shouted

"I'm afraid not my friend, he is as powerful as can be, we stand no hope against him"

"I can't just stand around here for the rest of eternity expecting to just wait around for my family to what, die? There has to be a way to take him down, once you go up there has to be a way down!" I bellowed

I stood up feeling a wave of power over wash me, what was that? I looked around and saw the wise man on his knees I quickly went to help him up but he declined the offer.

"D-Did you just give me your energy sir? I questioned

"Vanessa my friend you need it a lot more than I do, do not fret I'll slowly regain it" he explained

"Thank you sir" I said gratefully

"Wait Vanessa" He called

"Yes?"

"With that energy I need you to contact Veronica and warn her, warn her there's a risk you might not come back" he requested

"Yes sir, of course" I replied tears filling my eyes.

I walked away feeling more powerful than I ever have!

A group of people were doing some sorta test thingy on me, first they lay down on top of a table and scanned my brain then they started asking loads of questions like what's my name?, name these colors?, can you recite the alphabet? Then they started asking questions like Do you remember the crash? Who you were with? Do you recall any family members being with you? The only thing I could understand about these questions was that I was in a car crash and lost my memory.

I was later wheeled back to the room I was staying in, The two kind people that greeted me when I woke up were sitting down on a sofa looking worried,

"Everything ok?" I asked concerned,

"Yes honey, we're just glad you're ok!" The man said

"So are you guys like my friends or family or something?" I asked confused, I'm pretty sure they told me at one point when I woke up but i don't remember that.

"Yes honey we're our parents" The woman stated

"Oh ok, do I have any other family?" I asked

They looked at each other as if they were about to burst into tears,

"What's wrong? Did I do something?" I asked confused,

"No not at all, but yes you do have other family" the man half whispered, "Family you care for very deeply"

"So where are they?" I asked cheerfully, it must have been something I said because they were very upset over my family so I decided to move on, "Do I have any pets?" I asked

"Yes you do, a small dog named tiger" the woman explained

I was confused by her statement, how come I have a dog named tiger, it's a dog, not a cat, but I wasn't surprised with myself lately I have been very confused, my daydreaming was interrupted by Dr Daily knocking on the door, he called my parents out to talk about something important.

It had been almost 20 minutes since they left with Dr Daily and I've been getting kinda bored, that stopped when I heard the girl calling my name again, it was more clear than before, more recognizable, it sounded, it sounded a little like.... Ugh I couldn't put my finger on it, before I could think of someone a girl appeared in front of me, I don't know what happened but something clicked, I knew who it was, it seemed I could remember her but nothing else!
