Life after the car accident

With a smile slathered across my face.

For the first time in a really really long time I believed that Nessa would actually come back, visual proof! I picked up my phone in which I hardly use and called Mason,

"Hey" He answered, "What's up?"

"Was wondering if you'd like to go to the mall with me? I know I'm the indoor sort of person but I thought it would be a cute kinda date?" I asked hopefully,

"Of course I'll come" He chuckled.

"K bye, see you then" I smiled,

"Love ya" He said awkwardly, I paused for a few seconds to think of a response.

"Love you too" I stated as I quickly hung up, wow he loved me... I loved him. I hadn't have a boy tell me that he loves me in so long! I felt bubbly and excited on the inside and it felt amazing. I went to the bathroom and began applying some of my natural look make up, I played some cringe music which made me laugh at how bad it was, (Jake Paul XD Sorry Jake Paulers<3) When Nessa comes back we have to make a reaction I thought and burst out laughing. Wait the channel! I grabbed the phone and went on YouTube to look at our channel, the last video was from years ago which was from a Tuesday. I went to my camera roll and took a quick video.

Pressing the red button stressed me out, " Hey guy's it's Veronica... Merrell, one half of the Merrell twins and I'm just gonna explain things cause my input was never put out there" I began but stopped to grab a better camera and set it on a tripod in front of my bed. "Ok so back to the story... As you know me and Nessa's dream was to meet our favorite You Tuber Ryan Higa" I laughed remembering how fun the day we spent with him, "I'm telling you truthfully it was probably the best day of my life, he was so kind and super sweet and offered a room to Nessa and I for the night. Basically we said our goodbyes after having the time of our lives, I drove for a while but I didn't have a very good sleep and it was really bad weather so Nessa offered to drive" I explained not realizing the tears dripping down my cheeks. "A semi truck, driven by a drunk was in the wrong lane and it was too late to dodge so we swerved... we flew off the cliff. That's all I remember from the crash but I was informed even though Nessa and I were severely injured she pulled herself out of the vehicle and continued to pull me out... she succeeded and fell unconscious. It took a while for the ambulance to come and it wasn't looking good for me seeming as the car landed on my side." I paused again to wipe away the tears and apologies for the upset. "Basically I was in a coma for about a month and in that time" I had to stop again because I could barely speak remembering the pain I went through. "While I was down they performed a load of emergency surgeries on Nessa and I, She was in terrible condition, burnt and her organs were bleeding internally. My parents told me that her dying wish was to be awake when I awoke but they said the pain was too much for her to handle" I sobbed, covering my face with my hands as I broke down. "I was in complete shock, I didn't understand how something like that could actually happen to us, it changed me and if you were to meet me before and after the incident you would know how much I've changed" I explained, taking a breather. "Nessa was my rock and without her my life still isn't complete... I'm posting this video to show you that through the toughest times in life you have to be thankful of everything you have because it wasn't till seconds before that truck came at us did I tell her! Also I want you twinners to know that this is officially the last YouTube video for this channel... I'm sorry." I finished, now my sleeves soaked from wiping my face, I walked up to the camera and hit the button to stop recording. I silently made my way to my laptop and imported the video, I put the one from my phone before the serious one and didn't bother edit to jump cuts. I screenshotted me crying and added text for the thumbnail: Life After The Car Accident. I posted it and wrote a description: Please understand this is a once of thing, I won't be answering any more questions about the incident and please have respect for my loved ones<3

I posted on twitter, snapchat and Instagram the link to the video and nothing else, I needed people to understand YouTube is not gonna happen for me anymore. It ruined my life.

I sat in silence for ages, my phone going crazy with notifications, I forced myself not to touch my phone but clean up and get ready for my date with Mason.

The time came for me to drive to the mall, we went shopping and got food which I didn't eat, I mostly just stayed silent.

"Tell me what's wrong Veronica?" He begged over and over again throughout the day, he thought he had done something until I felt bad from keeping this from him.

"Mason I shared a YouTube Channel with my sister as you know" He nodded, he wasn't big into technology, more sports. "Well we had about a million followers before the accident and a couple of 100 thousand on social media apps such as twitter and Instagram" I looked up to see his mouth hanging open."I just posted a video explaining what happened and I'm freaking out" I whispered keeping my head down, I didn't hear him getting up and sit next to me and pull me in for a hug. "Thank You" I exhaled.

(Ironic chapter ami right? XD Thank you for reading <3, Not sure if I got all the facts right cause I honestly don't even remember what the last chapter was about XD)
