After nearly losing you in a fight with the Oni, Derek is keen not to let you out of his sight.

"Nice try, y/n, but I'm not letting you out of my sight." He grimaces.
"Why?" You groan.
"Because I don't want you to get hurt." His facial expression softens as he thinks about what he would do if he lost you.
Your heart skips a beat as Derek talks, "I really like you, y/n, and I don't know what I would do without you."
"Derek..." you contemplate telling him how you feel, hesitating for a moment, "I like you, too."
A small smile forms on his lips, but then he chuckles, "I'm still not letting you out of my sight." He instructs.
"I know." You smile suggestively.
"What?" Derek raises his eyebrows in amusement.
"Well since you're not letting me out of your sight maybe we can..." you trail off as his lips are suddenly on yours and he kisses you passionately, "I guess that'll work." You giggle as you kiss him back.
