After living in fear of the beast for so long, Marie looked out of the window in paranoia to check for any signs of beasts.
She was soon distracted when you spoke, "Marie, come back to bed, it's so cold." You teased, knowing she couldn't resist.
She turned to face you and her plump, pink lips curled into a soft smile, "only for you, my love."
She climbed into the bed next to you, pulling all of the blankets over the both of you as you wrapped your arms around her.
"We're safe now, Marie, you killed the beast." You reminded her, pulling her closer to you.
Her body was warm and you were soon feeling a lot warmer.
"I know, I just worry, y/n. I want to protect you." Marie admitted.
"I know you'll always protect me, Marie." You smiled before pressing a kiss against her temple slowly before resting your head on the pillow, your eyes closing slowly.
Marie admired you as you fell asleep, soon her head hit the pillow too and she couldn't stop herself from slipping into a deep sleep wrapped in your arms.
