Lydia when Scott or Stiles mention your name, it's been only a mere two months since you'd died at the hands of the dread doctors. She still wasn't over the fact that you were never coming back.

"Y/n would've wanted you to help us, Lyds." Scott sighs as they prepare to go to battle with yet another supernatural creature in Beacon Hills.
"I'm not ready, Scott." She shakes her head, tears forming in her eyes at the mention of your name.
"I know it's hard but we need you." Stiles urged.
"Y/n needed me, Stiles, and I wasn't there to save her." A tear trickled down her cheek as she said your name.
Scott and Stiles exchanged glances, "there was nothing you could do, Lydia." Scott said sympathetically.
"I just miss her, Scott." Lydia's voice cracked.
"I'm sorry, Lydia, I wish we could do something but right now if we don't fight these monsters we're all going to die." Stiles panicked.
Lydia hesitated, she knew she had to help her friends, "okay, fine." She nodded.
