Liam sees you for the first time since he broke up with you, he wanted to keep you safe but doing so he had to put his feelings aside.

"Why do you keep looking at me like that, Liam?" You catch him staring at you.
"Because I miss you." He mutters to himself.
"Remember you broke up with me right?" You remind him sadly.
"To protect you." He says.
"Protect me from what?" Liam hadn't told you about the supernatural.
"From me, I'm a monster." He admits, but you just find it weird.
"You're not a monster, Liam."
"Maybe not to you, but I don't want to hurt you."
You shake your head, "Liam..."
"I'm sorry." He turns around and walks away, it hurt him to hurt you but it was the right thing to do.
