Ch2

I woke up with all of my firearms gone, and I was extremely pissed to find myself unarmed. The memories would not erase out of my head: me killing Persis, betraying my people, and messing with that Ancient.

"Finally awake, eh?"

The sound of him made me sit up as swiftly as possible, and a killer head throb ran through my brain. The red cloak hung down his torso, along his legs, and down to his feet. I could tell by his shoulder build that he was in good shape, and even if I tried to fight him with my bare hands I would lose completely.

"I hope you know you look like a dumbass with that black rub all over your face," he said coldly, getting closer to where I lay. My heart felt like it was in my throat, and I couldn't help but to breathe fast from the surprise.

"What the hell do you want?"

In less then a second, he was standing in front of my bed. The breeze from his fast movement hit me in the face, as he began to come closer. I backed up away from him and ended up falling flat on my ass. Ouch! That really did hurt, but it didn't stop me from heading towards me sack that I noticed was placed on a chair at the other side of the room.

"Don't try it," he said, pinning me against the wall. I was scared out of my mind, and I had no clue what to do. This is nuts, and I never thought I'd be in such a a position.

He licked my neck, rubbing his fangs against them. "Your nothing but a hopeless, useless Amalgam. We are ancient, we are strong. You are weak and clueless." My head processed his words, and I felt my body go limp and dark. My eyes closed and they wouldn't open.

Alec's POV

She went limp in my arms, and I couldn't help but to look at her face. She looked just like our goddess, Kimera. A strong, powerful goddess, one with specialties unknown. But that's the only reason I had captured her. She's just as worthless at the humans down below. Her people still believed humans didn't exist. Since vampire and human kind could not compromise and live together in peace, we have our own space above, free of natural disasters or stupid human wars.

"Hello, Alec," Mazimus said, walking into the room with his hands behind his head. He looked down at the girl and gasped.

"Why if I say so myself, she looks just like goddess Kimera."

His hands fell to the sides, and I noticed he had a head in on of his hands. Blood dripped from the sides, and the face almost looked fake. I suppose, that's how all of the bodiless ones look.

"Which warrior is that?"

"Oh, apparently you don't recognize her after she's turned into an ugly Amalgam. This is Thyra, the blacksmith's wife, my ex." Although Mazimus was older then Earth itself, he still looked of the age of 17. I don't get how some of the old vampires age, and some don't. Apparently, he is extremely special and responsible for all of us.

"Arella won't be too happy," I said coldly.

"Shall we burn her body now or later?"

Before I could answer, Mazimus took the unconscious body of the girl, and threw her in his hands.

"I wish she wasn't so beautiful. I would be so much less hesitant. Do you think we could revive one of the old Ancients and send their soul to her body?"

My heart thumped against my chest, as I clutched onto the sleeves of my cloak.

"That process takes a while. She's not a very calm girl, and I'm sure she will throw a racket."

Mazimus nodded, agreeing with my theory.

"I guess it's the burner for her."

I had to clam myself before Mazimus noticed. What type of excuse could I use to just hold onto her a little longer. I JUST captured her, and I don't have the answers I need. I couldn't tell him that I kept her for other reasons other then sex and blood.

All of the sudden, her eyes popped open as she lay in Mazimus's arms. Her entire eye was bright blue and she ascended into the air by an invisible force.

"What the -"

"Bow, Alec," Mazimus said immediately, looking into the eyes of her. I just realized all she had on were slips, and they were now getting removed. Her naked body was covered in the blink of an eye as we just stared.

"King Mazimus, Son Alec," a different voice said. A powerful female voice flowed out of the girl's mouth and into our ears as a blue illuminate light shown behind her. What the hell was going on.

"We serve you oh mightly Kimera."

My eyes went wide. This is the body of Kimera, the beginning. Why hadn't I noticed before? Her strong personality, and undying persistence. What was I thinking? Bringing her here, putting us in danger? So much for her life. Mine was practically over.
