"Rosie! Peter! Walk, please! We're in a hospital not a playground!" I call to my two rambunctious and overly excited children. They both slow down their roll and Peter reaches his hand out to me. I take it and we continue on down the hallway. "Okay, on a scale from one to ten, how excited are you guys right now?" Rosie jumps up and down and then Pete follows in doing so.

"Like a hundred million!" She exclaims, gleefully.
"I'm excited, like, a thousand million, mummy." My sweet boy says, as he holds onto my arm. "How excited are you?"
"On a scale from one to ten? Probably a trillion." They smile, because that's a huge number.
"That's so much." Rosie notes, giggling.
"I know it is."
"When is daddy coming?"
"He'll be here soon. He's picking up your grandpa Des at the train station." I answer Peter, and then Rosie grabs onto my other hand and looks up at me.
"Is grandma here?" I nod.
"Mhm, she's with Aunt Gemma." My eyes search for room 308 and I see it a few doors up ahead. We slip inside and the two of them immediately run towards Gemma's bedside. "There she is!" I smile at my sister-in-law and she holds her arms out to me after squeezing Rosie and Peter. I hug her tightly, "Hi Gem."
