Rosie was squirming ceaselessly as she sat beside me on the examination chair, and I brushed her messy hair out of her face. "Will you quit wriggling, silly goose?" With a shake of her head, she leaned back against me and played with my fingers. Ever since Harry left, three and a half weeks ago, Rosie had been taking it especially hard. More so than Peter, who seemed to be pretty aloof. She'd been throwing more tantrums, fighting with every member of the household...and every day, multiple times per day, she'd ask to talk to him. I wasn't sure how to handle it, so Anne and I took turns trying to explain to her why she couldn't talk to him, but that he'd be back very soon. I'd spoken to Jeff a few times and he gave me updates, but as of yesterday, they were still working really hard to fix him. I didn't want to know what it was that they were doing, but I hoped it would work eventually.
