October 1st

"Guess what's happening today!" You wake Dan up by leaping onto him and poking his nose.

"What?" He asks, eyes still closed.

"Guessguessguess!" You shake his shoulder.

"Piss off and let me sleep!" He pushes you tiredly.

"Not until you guess!"

"Ugh... Don't tell me you're gonna die today or something?"

"Why would I be happy about that?"

"I would."

"Joking! Ha ha I love being alive!"

"Stop saying that sarcastically! You have ten seconds to tell me that you genuinely love living!"

"Or what?"

"Or I'll kill you!"

"What a punishment!"

"Dan!"

"You sure?"

"Yes I'm sure." He laughs. "What's happening today?"

"Oh yeah! I'm releasing my album!" You grin.

"Yay! What time is that happening?"

"Seven pm."

"What time is it now?"

"Six am."

"Get the fuck off me and let me sleep." He shoves you off him and onto your side of the bed before rolling over to face the opposite direction.

"Go back to sleep."

You try and do as he says.

"Hi D/N!" You lay down at the foot of the bed and stroke D/N on the head. "Who's a good little dog? You are! Yes you are!"

"Can you not sleep or something?" Dan asks you.

"I think you can already tell the answer to that."

"Ugh." He tilts his head back and groans in annoyance. "What can I do to make you go to sleep?"

"Well..."

"Well what? Really?"

"You wanna?"

"You're meaning something completely different to what you're making it out to sound like, aren't you? Enough with the cryptic crap, what do you want to do?"

"Walk the dog!" You exclaim excitedly.

"Can't we just have sex? That's a great time and we don't have to go outside or even leave the room to do it." Dan complains.

"No! Dog!"

"Who even are you? Waking up early and wanting to go outside? How long was I in that coma?"

"Look at her!" You lean over and force Dan to look at D/N's adorable face. "She wants a walk so baaad!"

"And I want to sleep so baaad!" Dan mocks. "Why can't you go alone?"

"Because I want you to come with me!"
