"Laura! Laura wake up!"
Being shaken by Ross is what woke me up. I gasped before breaking down in tears.
"Baby, what's wrong? did you have a nightmare?" Ross asks, wrapping his arms around me.
I nod into his chest. "Where's Austin?"
"In his crib, baby." Ross whispers, pointing beside him. I saw Austin wrapped in blankets with his little eyes closed tight.
I place a hand over my beating heart and sigh a sigh of relief. "I had a nightmare that Andrew showed up."
"Oh my gosh, Laura. Don't worry about him. He's never coming near us again." Ross reassures me. "It's just you, me and Austin now."
"Thank you." I smile, pressing my lips against his.
"You know. I was thinking. Why don't we elope?" Ross asks.
"What?" I chuckle.
"Let's get married. Let's run away, the three of us. We can start a new life somewhere. Italy, New York, Paris. Where ever you want." He shrugs.
"Are you being serious?" I ask.
Ross nods. "I've never been more certain about anything in my entire life. I want to be with you forever, and I want to be the best father figure to Austin. Why can't we?"
I smirk. "I never said we can't."
