Lord Hokage - The Man With The Scar

Reina's P.O.V

Right now Kakashi is taking me to this Lord Hokage's office. I was really scared to meet this man that was so superior. I immediately thought that he would hurt me... Would he hurt me? Would he kick me out? Or worst of all, would he separate me from Kakashi?

Tears formed in the corner of my eyes at the thought of Kakashi leaving me. I shook my head and rubbed away the tears. There's no way I could lose him after he saved me. I glanced at Kakashi and remembered what he told me. 'Just hope for the best' and that's what I did. I nodded with my arms crossed and grunted softly. 'If Mr. Hokage won't let me be here with Kakashi... Then I'll just throw a fit. Yeah, I'll throw a fit,' I smirked evilly with a giggle.

"May I know what your giggling about?"

I jumped in shock while letting out a squeak. Kakashi was looking at me expectantly. I didn't answer right away, but he stood there waiting for an answer.

I opened and closed my mouth till I finally found something to say. "U-Uh, It was n-nothing Ka-Kakashi!" I blurted out quickly. Curse my stuttering!

Kakashi hummed and bent down to my height. "Are you sure, Reina-chan?" He asked.

I nodded my head rapidly. Kakashi towered over me and I gulped at the major height difference. 'Does he know I'm lying?' I wondered. Before I could say another word my hair was ruffled, pulling me out of my thoughts. I whined and pushed his hands away and started to tend to my hair. "Hm, I see..."

Kakashi started walking again. He didn't turn back to check on me. I stood still, surprised that he didn't even bother looking back. I shrugged my shoulders and let out a huge sigh of relief. 'I almost got caught with my little plan. I need to keep my giggles in.' I thought. I ran ahead, but I didn't see Kakashi at all. I looked around and only saw other people, but not one person was Kakashi. My lip trembled.

'Kakashi...K-Kakashi... Where are you?' I thought sadly. I whimpered. 'I lost him! I lost him! I'm all alone again. I'm all by myself...' I stared at the ground sadly, but my mood immediately changed. Hope and determination filled me. 'Kakashi said we were heading to the Hokage, so I can just ask someone to take me there! He might be there waiting for me!' I exclaimed in my head. I ran around asking people if they could take me to the Hokage, but all I received were dirty looks or people ignoring me. I went up to one last person; an old man.

I walked up behind him and tugged his shirt. "Excuse me, sir. I was wondering if you could tell me where the Hokage is...if you don't mind..." I muttered out nervously.

He glared at me hatefully, "Why would I tell a blue haired monster where the Hokage is?" He spat in my face.

I flinched back. His words hurt me, they reminded me off what my beaters had said... Monster, worthless, failure, mistake. But I couldn't give up now, I needed to see the Hokage.

I tried asking once more, but with more confidence in my voice. "Sir, can you help me find where the Hokage is, please?"

Sadly... It didn't work. He shoved me harshly. I fell to the ground. My face skidded across the cold hard ground. My eyes were wide in shock and in fear. He pushed me. He actually pushed me!

Scrambling up to my feet, I scurried away from the man. I heard him chuckle. "Run away like the monster you are!" He shouted at my retreating figure.

Warm tears slid down my face as I sniffled and ran away. I ran as far as I possibly could. Not too long after I started running, pain soared through my legs. My legs were weak and they begged for me to stop running. Finally I stopped and I slid against a wall, sobbing into my arms. All my feelings had busted out at once. 'First, I lose Kakashi. Then, I ended up being shoved to the ground when I asked for help!' I whimpered, 'This world is cruel.'
